A Study of Lumigan® 0.01% in Patients With Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (POAG) or Ocular Hypertension...
GlaucomaOpen-Angle1 moreA study of Lumigan® 0.01% as administered in standard practice for patients with POAG or OHT. All treatment decisions, care and diagnostic procedures provided are at the discretion of the participating physicians according to their clinical judgment and the local standard of medical care.
Multicentric Observational Study on Quality of Life in Glaucoma
Primary Open-angle GlaucomaThe study aims to evaluate the quality of life (QoL) of patients affected by Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma (POAG), using 2 QoL questionnaires: Glaucoma Symptom Scale (GSS) and National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire (NEI-VFQ -25). The study will be conducted on patients with well known diagnosis of POAG (transversal phase) and on patients with first diagnosis of POAG (longitudinal phase).
A Investigator Masked Parallel Comparison of Tolerability of Combigan and Cosopt
Open Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionThe objective of this research study is to compare the tolerability and effectiveness of Combigan(brimonidine tartrate/timolol maleate) and Cosopt (dorzolamide hydrochloride)in the treatment of open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Nutritional Supplements and Performance During Visual Field Testing (B3 Vitamin)
Visual Field DefectPeripheral2 moreThis study seeks to test whether these over-the-counter nutritional supplements have an impact on patients' performance during visual field testing.
The Effectiveness of YAG Iridotomy in Preventing Peripheral Anterior Synechia After CLASS in Primary...
GlaucomaOpen-angleTo investigate the effectiveness of YAG laser iridotomy in preventing peripheral anterior synechia after CO2 Laser-Assisted Sclerectomy Surgery and the long-term effect of reducing intraocular pressure
PRESERFLO® MicroShunt Extension Study
Primary Open-angle GlaucomaThis prospective, concurrent controlled, open-label, multicenter study is designed to collect additional safety data through 5 years of follow-up for subjects randomized to either the treatment arm (PRESERFLO® MicroShunt with MMC) or the control arm (Trabeculectomy with MMC) of the INN-005 clinical study.
Comparison of Vitamin D Status and Vitamin D Receptor Polymorphisms in Patients With High Myopia...
Vitamin D DeficiencyPrimary Open-angle Glaucoma2 moreVitamin D deficiency is known to be significantly associated with high myopia. This study investigated the vitamin D status in patients with high myopia and primary open-angle glaucoma, in order to understand the relationship between high myopia and the development of primary open-angle glaucoma.110 primary open-angle glaucoma patients, 110 high myopia patients and 110 age-matched people in the Han population were enrolled. Serum levels of 1a, 25-Dihydroxyvitamin D3 were measured by an enzyme-linked immuno-absorbent assay.Vitamin D receptor polymorphic analysis was studied by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism technique.
The Effects of Visior on Ocular Hemodynamics
Primary Open Angle GlaucomaTo determine the relationship between the affects of viewing commercially available content through the VISIOR video goggles and ocular blood flow in glaucoma patients and healthy subjects.
Central Corneal Thickness and 24-hour Fluctuation of Intraocular Pressure
Open Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionThe purpose of this study is to determine whether 24-hour fluctuation of intraocular pressure (IOP) is associated with central corneal thickness (CCT) in subjects with ocular hypertension or open angle glaucoma and in age-matched controls. Also to evaluate whether mean IOP reduction as a response to latanoprost (0.005% Xalatan) is associated with CCT, after a 4-weeks period of treatment. Also, to evaluate whether 24-hour fluctuation of IOP is associated with corneal hysteresis (CH) measured by Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA).
Comparative Study of Ologen Collagen Matrix Versus Mitomycin-C in Trabeculectomy: A Study in Germany...
Open-angle GlaucomaThe aim of this prospective randomized study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of trabeculectomy with ologen Collagen Matrix versus trabeculectomy using mitomycin C (MMC) in patients with medically uncontrolled open angle glaucoma.
