Clinical Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of DF289 Plus DF277 Otic Solution in the Treatment...
Acute Otitis MediaThe purpose of this study is to determine if the combination of DF289 plus DF277 is safe and effective in treating middle ear infections in children with ear tubes.
Singapore Tympanostomy Tube Delivery System Study
Otitis MediaThe objective of the study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Acclarent Tympanostomy Tube Delivery System (TTDS) in the placement of tympanostomy tubes (TTs) in patients indicated for such treatment for chronic otitis media with effusion (OME) or recurrent acute otitis media (AOM).

Osteopathic Otitis Media Research Study
Otitis Media With EffusionThe purpose of this study is to determine if the application of osteopathic manipulative medicine speeds the rate of resolution of middle ear effusion (fluid) in children following an episode of acute otitis media.
Short Term Relief of Eustachian Tube Dysfunction and Serous Otitis Media Using Intranasal Steroid...
Otitis MediaSerous5 moreWe hypothesize that intranasal steroid application will have a beneficial therapeutic effect in adults with regard to resolution of serous otitis media and/or negative middle ear pressure, as compared to placebo. We further hypothesize that the rate of spontaneous short-term resolution of otitis media wit effusion in adults treated with placebo will be relatively low (minority of patients).
Efficacy and Cost Analysis of Steroids in Treatment of Otitis Media With Effusion
Otitis Media With EffusionWe intend to study the cost of treatment, efficacy and adverse effects for Otitis media with effusion.
Balloon Eustachian Tuboplasty in Treatment of Chronic Eustachian Tube Dysfunction
Chronic Eustachian Tube DysfunctionChronic Recurrent Otitis Media1 moreThe prevalence of Eustachian tube (ET) dysfunction in adults reaches 1%. It causes a feeling of fullness in the ear, otalgia and hearing loss and can lead to recurrent acute otitis media, development of chronic otitis media with effusion and cholesteatoma. Endoscopic transnasal balloon ET dilatation is a novel surgical technique for ET dysfunction. The main goal is to restore ET function by dilation its cartilaginous part leading to better ventilation and drainage of the middle ear. However, its real effect in the treatment of particular subgroups of patients with ET dysfunction remains unknown. Patients are mostly evaluated as one group. Adults with chronic ET dysfunction will be strictly divided into particular subgroups and included in the study. Subgroups will be compared in order to identify treatment effect in particular subgroups.
