Safety and Efficacy Study of Catumaxomab to Treat Ovarian Cancer After a Complete Response to Chemotherapy...

Ovarian Cancer

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the investigational drug catumaxomab delivered in the planned treatment schedule is a safe and effective treatment for women with advanced ovarian cancer who experience a complete response to chemotherapy.

UCN-01 and Topotecan in Treating Patients With Recurrent, Persistent, or Progressive Advanced Ovarian...

Fallopian Tube CancerOvarian Cancer1 more

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as topotecan, work in different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. UCN-01 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for their growth. Combining UCN-01 with topotecan may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combining UCN-01 with topotecan in treating patients who have recurrent, persistent, or progressive advanced ovarian epithelial, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.

Radiolabeled Monoclonal Antibody in Treating Patients With Advanced Ovarian Epithelial Cancer

Ovarian Cancer

RATIONALE: Radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies can locate tumor cells and deliver radioactive tumor-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. Giving radiolabeled monoclonal antibody directly into the abdominal cavity may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of giving radiolabeled monoclonal antibody therapy directly into the abdominal cavity in treating patients who have advanced ovarian epithelial cancer.

A Study of the Safety and Effects of EMD 72000 in Subjects With Recurrent Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian Cancer

EMD 72000 is an experimental, biological drug. Studies in animals indicate that EMD 72000 blocks a factor found on the surface of many cancer cells. The factor is called epidermal growth factor receptor or EGFR. One type of cancer which frequently contains EGFR is ovarian cancer. This study will test the safety and effects of EMD 72000 in subjects with EGFR-positive recurrent ovarian cancer following standard treatment that has failed.

Gemcitabine Plus Carboplatin Versus Carboplatin Monotherapy in Patients With Advanced Ovarian Cancer...

Ovarian Cancer

The primary objective of this study is to compare the time to progressive disease in patients treated with gemcitabine plus carboplatin versus carboplatin monotherapy. Patients will have advanced epithelial ovarian cancer and have failed first-line platinum-containing therapy 6 months after treatment discontinuation.

CP-547,632 in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Persistent Ovarian Cancer, Primary Peritoneal...

Fallopian Tube CancerOvarian Cancer1 more

RATIONALE: CP-547,632 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for their growth and by stopping blood flow to the tumor. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well CP-547,632 works in treating patients with recurrent or persistent ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal cancer, or fallopian tube cancer.

An Efficacy and Safety Study for Yondelis (Trabectedin) in Patients With Advanced Relapsed Ovarian...

Ovarian Cancer

The purpose of the study is to compare the progression-free survival (PFS) of the combination of trabectedin + DOXIL with DOXIL monotherapy in patients with ovarian cancer.

Carboplatin Taxol Avastin in Ovarian Cancer (OVCA)

Ovarian Cancer

Study Design: This ia a Phase II study. Subjects: Patients with chemotherapy naive epithelial ovarian cancer; or fallopian, primary peritoneal and papillary serous mullerian tumors will be recruited. Carboplatin and Taxol (paclitaxel) will be administered concurrently with bevacizumab after surgery for 6-8 cycles every 21 (q21) days. Bevacizumab will be omitted in the first cycle, immediately post-operatively. This will be followed by one year of bevacizumab q21. Outcomes: Outcomes include toxicity, response rate, and progression free survival.

Topotecan Plus Paclitaxel and Carboplatin in the Initial Treatment of Advanced Ovarian and Primary...

Ovary Cancer

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and toxicity of the combination of paclitaxel, carboplatin, and topotecan in patients with previously untreated, stage III or IV epithelial ovarian carcinoma or primary peritoneal carcinoma. We will also make a preliminary evaluation of the efficacy of this three drug regimen in the initial treatment of these patients.

Erlotinib or Observation in Treating Patients Who Have Undergone First-Line Chemotherapy for Ovarian...

Fallopian Tube CancerOvarian Cancer1 more

RATIONALE: Erlotinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Sometimes after treatment, the tumor may not need additional treatment until it progresses. In this case, observation may be sufficient. It is not yet known whether erlotinib is more effective than observation after first-line chemotherapy in treating patients with ovarian cancer, peritoneal cancer, or fallopian tube cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying erlotinib to see how well it works compared to observation in treating patients who have undergone first-line chemotherapy for ovarian cancer, peritoneal cancer, or fallopian tube cancer.
