The changes of lower urinary tract function after cystocele repair are important for perioperative consultation and management. Thus, the aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the prevalence of bladder oversensitivity and detrusor overactivity in women with ≥ stage II cystocele and the changes of storage function after cystocele repair.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate its reproducibility of overactive bladder symptom score (OABSS) and to evaluate its correlation to other measures of OAB symptoms.

A major complication in studies to identify the nature of bladder sensations is language. It is difficult, if not near impossible, for the lay person, with no knowledge of physiology, anatomy or pathology, to put into simple terms a description of basic visceral sensations. Therefore, before the investigators can speculate about the detailed mechanisms generating sensation the investigators must overcome this language and communication difficulty. This will be addressed in the present study. There are important reasons why the investigators must identify the mechanisms generating the different sensations as the bladder fills. One of them is that these are basic physiological mechanisms which need to be better understood.

The purpose of this study is to look for evidence of bacteria in the urine or bladder of people with overactive bladder. Because you do not have overactive bladder, your participation in this study will be used as a comparison to those who have overactive bladder.

A study to examine the impact that Interstim Therapy for Urinary Control has on health care utilization and costs within a health care system and the satisfaction with treatment expressed by patients using this therapy.

We will estimate the incidence of patients with overactive bladder syndrome after surgery and explore related predictors.

The English version of the Overactive Bladder Symptom Score (OABSS) questionnaire was translated to Arabic language. The questionnaire was validated by comparing the response to the questionnaire in a patient with Overactive Bladder (OAB) before and after providing treatment with antimuscarinics.

Thus, the aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the prevalence of urodynamic stress incontinence and/or detrusor overactivity in women with ≥ stage II cystocele and the changes of incontinence function after cystocele repair.

This study is a non interventional study where no investigational medicine is provided. Procedures and examination will follow the institution standard of care practice. The therapeutic approach will not be decided in advance by the protocol or influenced in any way by the protocol. After standard evaluation the investigator will decide the treatment strategy and upon eligibility criteria met will propose subject to participate to the study. Informed consent will be collected for all subjects. The study will consist of 3 possible observational visits; V1 (enrolment), V2 and V3 (follow up). During all observational visits (V1, V2 and V3) the patient will complete the I-PSS (International Prostate Symptom Score) questionnaire including Quality Of Life (QOL) questionnaire and a Patient assessment of treatment benefit and satisfaction using a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). The patient will be asked to complete a voiding diary the first 3 days after Visit 1 (Baseline diary), 3 days before Visit 2 and again 3 days before Visit 3. Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) measurement- Uroflowmetry - Post Voiding Residual volume and Trans Rectal Ultra Sound data will be collected only if available. During all observational visits (V1, V2 and V3) the investigator will complete the assessment of treatment benefit and satisfaction using a VAS.
