A Phase I/IIa Study of EF-009 in Patients With Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic CancerThis study is a multi center, open-label, dose escalation, Phase I/IIa study of EF-009 in up to 30 patients with borderline resectable and unresectable pancreatic cancer.
The Seven Trial: Exploiting the Unfolded Protein Response
Pancreatic Cancer MetastaticPancreatic Adenocarcinoma MetastaticThe goal of this investigator initiated interventional study is to improve the response to the anticancer treatments (chemotherapy) in people who have previously untreated metastatic pancreas cancer. The main question it aims to answer is: • Do new types of immune-based therapies, called botensilimab, and balstilimab, when given in combination with chemotherapy consisting of nab-paclitaxel + gemcitabine + cisplatin, and oral medications of chloroquine and celecoxib help patients with previously untreated metastatic pancreatic cancer? Participants will be administered two immune-based therapies: Botensilimab (also referred to as AGEN1811) Balstilimab (also referred to as AGEN2034) Patients will be evaluated when given in combination with: Triple chemotherapy (nab-paclitaxel + gemcitabine + cisplatin), plus two oral medications: chloroquine celecoxib
Radiographic Response to Chemotherapy in Unresected Localized Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic CancerUltrasonography1 moreThe goal of this observational study is to explore whether contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) can early predict and evaluate the treatment response of first-line chemotherapy in locally advanced and borderline resectable pancreatic cancers. The main questions it aims to answer are: Question 1: What quantitative parameters of CEUS performed before first-line chemotherapy can predict the early treatment response of patients with locally pancreatic cancer?Question 2: Can CEUS reflect early neovascular changes after first-line chemotherapy in pancreatic tumors? Participants will receive CEUS examination carried out by experienced operators before the first cycle of chemotherapy and after 2 treatment cycles.
A Clinical Study of BRCA and DNA Damage Repair Genes in Blood Samples of Chinese Pancreatic Cancer...
Pancreatic CancerThis study aims to know the status of BRCA and DDR genes in PDAC patients in China. Peripheral venous blood samples of the patients will be collected for next-generation sequencing of BRCA and DNA damage repair related genes. At the same time, it is necessary to record clinical information such as age, gender, tumor pathological type, tumor stage and grade, whether surgery is performed, the size of postoperative residual lesions, and treatment methods. Prognostic indicators include the association of factors such as PFS, ORR, and DCR are also recorded.
Pancreatic Cancer & Surgical Resection
Pancreas CancerPrimary Objective(s) To collect clinical data related to the treatment outcomes of Pancreatic IRE in order to develop an evidence base such that physicians can provide the best possible care to patients with pancreatic cancer requiring surgical intervention. Secondary Objective(s) To collect data on adverse events and complications related to IRE treatment. The AHPBA (Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association) will be responsible for data collection and will periodically audit the data for quality assurance purposes. The AHPBA will review outcomes reported by each participating Research Institution and if outcomes are in the lower percentile, the investigators will be offered support to analyze the reasons for the suboptimal outcomes and may seek support to improve outcomes. The participating Research Institutions will receive a certificate annually that acknowledges their participation in the Research Project.
A Study of Mitoxantrone Hydrochloride Liposome Injection in Patients With Advanced Pancreatic Cancer...
Advanced Pancreatic CancerThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of mitoxantrone hydrochloride liposome injection in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer.
Video Education With Result Dependent dIsclosure
Genetic TestingBreast Cancer7 moreThe overall study objective of this trial study is to identify and evaluate strategies to improve the accessibility of the video education with result dependent disclosure (VERDI) model, increasingly utilized as a pre-genetic testing (pretest) education alternative in clinical practice, to better serve a more diverse patient population at risk for hereditary cancers.
Study of Irinotecan Liposome Injection-containing Regimens Versus Nab-paclitaxel Plus Gemcitabine...
Pancreatic Cancer Non-resectablePancreatic Cancer MetastaticThis is a multicenter, randomized, open-lable, parallel-controlled phase II study of irinotecan liposome injection-containing regimens versus nab-paclitaxel plus gemcitabine in patients with previously untreated, metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the differences of safety and efficacy of irinotecan liposome injection-containing regimens versus nab-paclitaxel plus gemcitabine in patients with previously untreated, metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
Characterization of Biophysical Stromal Properties in Human Cancer: Towards Personalized Computational...
CarcinomatosisPeritoneal3 moreDrug delivery in solid tumors, whether administered systemically or locoregionally, is hindered by an elevated interstitial fluid pressure (IFP). Stromal targeting therapies are in active development, aiming to enhance drug transport after systemic or locoregional delivery. To date, no clinical methods are available to quantify tumor biophysical properties (including IFP). The investigators aim to use a combination of dynamic contrast enhanced MRI and computational fluid modeling (CFD) to measure stromal IFP in patients with pancreatic cancer and in patients with ovarian or colonic peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC). Computational data will be correlated with therapy response, platinum drug penetration, and invasively measured biophysical parameters after intravenous (pancreas) or intraperitoneal (ovarian/colonic PC) administration of a platinum compound. This would be the first in depth clinical study addressing this important topic, and could pave the way to developing personalized computational based treatment approaches aimed at targeting the biophysical environment of the tumor stroma in order to enhance cancer drug delivery.
Quality Control Study of MR Based Screening of Individual With Increased Risk for Pancreas Cancer....
Hereditary PancreatitisHereditary Pancreatic CancerEarly detection of pre-cancerous lesions or early stage pancreatic cancer seems to have a positive impact in survival for patients with an increased genetic risk to develop pancreas cancer. In this study, following the indication of the swedish guidelines, consecutive patients with a family history for pancreas cancer underwent a clinical surveillance Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) based. The results of this study were analyzed looking in the patients files collected during the screening period.
