The purpose of this study is to follow patients, who have small mucinous cysts in the pancreas, prospectively over a 5-year period.

The purpose of this study is to investigate an intervention to prevent complications after pancreas surgery. The goal is to determine if placing a stent into the pancreatic duct before surgery will decrease or prevent leaking from the pancreatic duct after surgery. Leaks are common after pancreas surgery and can result in serious problems and post-operative pain. The study will compare two groups. One group will have the stent before surgery, and the other group will have standard pancreas surgery, no endoscopy, and no stent.

This registry aims to assess the outcomes of patients undergoing EUS-guided interventions of pancreatic fluid collections and EUS examination of pancreatic cyst lesions.

Due to the advances made in the field of the imaging techniques and their common use, pancreatic cysts are more and more incidentally found. Pancreatic pseudocysts can be misdiagnosed as cystic neoplasms, in particular when there is no clinical history of acute or chronic pancreatitis. Pancreatic cystic neoplasms on the other hand are rare, but are difficult to diagnose accurately. Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) , interleukin 1 Beta (IL1beta) and High Mobility Group AT-Hook 2 (HmgA2) are molecules implicated in the process of inflammation and tumour development. The diagnostic value of their concentration in pancreatic cysts is not established yet. Study aim to asses the significance of NGAL,IL1Beta and HMGA2 concentration in cystic fluid obtained by endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) with EUS-guided fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) and serum level for discriminating between inflammatory and non-inflammatory pancreatic cyst.

The investigators are interested in performing a detailed examination of the pancreas via EUS (Endoscopic Ultra Sound)for patients referred for a non-pancreatic condition. The hypothesis is to make a statistical determination of how many pancreatic cysts the investigators discover incidentally.

This study intends to investigate the long term follow-up of small non-inflammatory pancreatic cysts.

The aim is to propose and prospectively validate a diagnostic approach and model for prediction of mucinous versus non-mucinous, and malignant versus non-malignant pancreatic cysts using a combination of clinical, radiologic, and biomarker characteristics.

The purpose of this study is to assess the yield of combination modalities in the diagnosis of pancreatic cysts using EUS/FNA, Fiber optics (direct visualization probe), and prototype needle based confocal laser-induced endomicroscopy miniprobe (nCLE).

The nature of cysts and solid masses in the pancreas can be difficult to diagnose. They may be benign, precancerous, or cancer. Current tests such as cytology (looking under a microscope) and tumor markers do not always give us the answer. The investigators are looking for genetic markers on biopsy specimens from the pancreas that will give us a better test for diagnosis. This study is only for diagnosing these lesions. The investigators are not treating any patients.

This study evaluates the use of contrast-enhanced harmonic endoscopic ultrasound (CH-EUS) and cyst fluid molecular analysis in the differential diagnosis of pancreatic cysts and the detection of malignancy.
