This is a descriptive, observational, multi-country European cross-sectional study of new users of dabigatran etexilate that aims to characterise on- and off-label status and other medical characteristics at the time of the first captured prescription of dabigatran etexilate in each database. The study will be conducted using Cegedim Strategic Database (CSD, France), Danish National Databases (Denmark) and Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD, UK).

This clinical study is a prospective, multicenter, post-market, single-arm, observational study designed to characterize the usage of the Lesion Index (LSI) with the market-released TactiCath Contact Force Ablation Catheter, Sensor Enabled (TactiCath SE) in subjects with Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation (PAF) in a real-word environment.

The aim of this study is to quantify and characterize the outcomes of radiofrequency (RF) ablation after, and the utility of electroanatomical mapping with the Advisor™ HD Grid Mapping Catheter, Sensor Enabled™ (hereafter called "HD Grid") and EnSite Precision™ Cardiac Mapping System (SV 2.2 or higher, hereafter called "EnSite Precision") with HD Wave Vmax voltage mapping (hereafter called "HD Wave") in subjects with PersAF or VT in real-world clinical settings.

Atrial fibrillation and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease are two pathological conditions that are highly prevalent worldwide and share multiple CVD risk factors. There is rare research performed among elderly adults. The investigators are conducting a cross-sectional analysis of elderly adults (≥65 years) to investigate the association between atrial fibrillation and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in an elderly Chinese population.

The study aims to identify specific or potential reasons that prolong the length of hospital stay after video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery lobectomy. The hypothesis is that patients who are still in hospital after video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery lobectomy are associated with prolonged air leak, infection, pneumonia, atrial fibrillation or other complications or social factors.

The study results will be used to check the hypothesis that CareLink Express remote monitoring system increases the detection rate of asymptomatic AF and allows to change timely the treatment strategy in patients at high risk of thromboembolic events, e.g. anticoagulation therapy onset, electrical cardioversion or/and PVI.

The proposed clinical study aims to validate the diagnostic performance, compared to a reference ECG, of the ECG-SW1 software and the PPG-SW1 software integrated into the HWA09 watch developed by Withings for the automatic identification of atrial fibrillation (AF).
