Pharmacoresistant Focal EpilepsiesThis is a monocentric, open-label clinical study, presenting a retrospective part and a prospective part, studying the data of patients with drug-resistant focal epilepsies and treated with the combination of stiripentol (Diacomit®) and Carbamazepine.

Partial EpilepsyPrimary objective: To evaluate the safety and tolerability of cenobamate in pediatric subjects 2-17 years of age with partial-onset (focal) seizures
Pivotal-Safety and Therapeutic Measures of tDCS in Patients With Refractory Focal Epilepsy
Refractory EpilepsyFocal Seizure7 moreThis is a multiple site, randomized, double blinded parallel-group controlled study. The purpose of this study is to evaluate efficacy, safety, and tolerability of repeated, daily sessions with the STARSTIM device, which delivers transcranial cathodal direct current stimulation (tDCS). Subjects will be treated with STARTSTIM or sham device for 10 sessions over a 2-week period. The subjects will be followed for an additional 10 weeks post treatment. Quality of Life questionnaires and adverse events will be collected and evaluated.
Clinical Evaluation of Interstitial Laser Thermal Therapy Under Continuous MRI Monitoring as a Minimally...
Drug-resistant Focal EpilepsyEpilepsy4 moreLaser Induced Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT) is a "minimally invasive" procedure that uses the heat generated by a laser light (65°) to destroy brain lesions by coagulation leading to lesion necrosis under real-time MRI monitoring. The laser optical fiber is implanted into the lesion using stereotaxy. This technique, which can be performed under local anesthesia and on an outpatient basis, proved its efficacy and safety in the treatment of brain metastases for the first time in the world in 2006 (A. Carpentier et al, 2008, 2011). Since then, more than 5,000 patients have been treated in the USA, including for epileptogenic lesions (FDA device and CE cleared). Our goal is to evaluate LITT on lesions with drug-resistant epilepsy for which surgical resection is impossible. No therapeutic trial evaluating LITT in this indication has been performed to date. It is therefore necessary to study its feasibility and tolerance.
Study of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation to Treat Epilepsy
Focal EpilepsyThe purpose of this research is to see to what extent electrical stimulation applied to the scalp (transcranial direct current stimulation or tDCS) can reduce the number and intensity of epileptic seizures.
Treating Postictal Symptoms Using Ibuprofen and Nifedipine
EpilepsyEpilepsies1 moreThis study will evaluate the effect of ibuprofen or nifedipine on post-seizure hypoperfusion and neurological deficits in patients with epilepsy. One group will receive ibuprofen, another will receive nifedipine, and anther placebo.
MR-Guided Focused Ultrasound in the Treatment of Focal Epilepsy (EP001)
EpilepsyThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and initial effectiveness of Exablate thermal ablation of a focal epileptic target area in the brain of patients suffering from medication-refractory epilepsy, using the Exablate transcranial system to produce multiple sonications targeted in the focus of interest. The investigators will establish the feasibility and collect data to establish the basic safety of this type of treatment as the basis for later studies that will evaluate its full clinical efficacy.

Leucine-Rich Glioma Inactivated 1 Autoimmune EncephalitisThe purpose of the study is to assess the efficacy of rozanolixizumab as measured by seizure freedom, change in cognitive function, use of rescue medication, onset of seizure freedom and to assess safety and tolerability.
