The purpose of this study is to determine if the psychosocial factors in women with chronic pelvic pain are predisposing, precipitant or maintenance factors, and relate these factors with central sensitization and dysfunctional pain.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the frequency and severity of chronic pelvic pain (CPP) in adult women living in Copenhagen Country and Zealand Country (total population 2,4 million), Denmark, in relation to selected factors, such as basic demographic and clinical factors, health related quality of life, physical activity and abnormal muscular findings in the pelvic area.

To investigate the feasibility of MRI and MRV in diagnosis of pelvic congestion syndrome.

Vaginal microorganisms play an important role in the occurrence and development of many diseases, such as persistent infection of high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) causing cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer, and the role of microorganisms in chronic prostatitis.

The purpose of this study is to determine the percentage of women, among those attending our institute in order to do Pap test, suffering of chronic pelvic pain. To such purpose the patients will be submitted to questionnaires.
