Influence of Intra Canal Medications on Postoperative Flare-up in Endodontic Re-treatment Cases...
Postoperative PainPain1 moreIs to evaluate the influence of the calcium hydroxide / chlorhexidine combination and calcium hydroxide alone as an intra-canal medication in postoperative flare-up in two visits endodontic retreatment cases
3D Instrumentation Versus Rotary Instrumentation
Postoperative Painenrollment of the patient after diagnosis, radiographic evaluation, and signing the informed consent. allocation of the patient to either intervention or control group. After anaesthesia and access cavity, the first root canal sample will be taken. Endodontic treatment will be completed in one visit. The second root canal sample will be taken. Patients will be asked to evaluate their postoperative pain level using VAS scale at 6, 12, 24 hours, and daily up to 5 days. Patients will record the number of analgesics if any taken.
Patient Re-education vs. Background Morphine to IV-PCA in Patient With Unsatisfactory Analgesia...
Post-operative PainThe purpose of this study is to improve IV-Patient Controlled Analgesia (IV-PCA) technique for postoperative analgesia. Investigators are comparing between patient re-education and the background morphine infusion among patients who fail to achieve satisfactory analgesia using IV-PCA Morphine after laparotomy.
FE in Anterior Teeth
PainPostoperative1 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine whether enlarging the apical foramen causes postoperative pain in maxillary anterior teeth with apical periodontitis.
Ultrasound Guided Transversus Abdominis Plane Block in Pediatric Surgery
Postoperative PainThe primary objective of this study is to assess differences in postoperative pain experienced by pediatric patients having transversus abdominis plane block block with bupivacaine (0.125% and 0.25%) compared with control group will receive conventional iv analgesia after Laparoscopic surgery.
Postoperative Pain and Recovery Time After Pulpotomy
Postoperative PainThe aim of this retrospective study was to compare immediate postoperative pain scores and the need for rescue analgesia in children who underwent pulpotomies and general restorative treatment and those who underwent general restorative treatment only, all under general anaesthesia.
Intra- Versus Extraarticular Injection of Ropivacaine in Total Knee Arthroplasty
PainPostoperativeThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the optimal site for application of local anesthetics in total knee arthroplasty surgery. The hypothesis is, that improved pain relief is obtained when administering local anesthetics in the tissues sourrounding the knee joint compared to the knee joint itself.
Local Anesthetics After Total Knee Arthroplasty
Postoperative PainThe aim of this randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled study is to evaluate the specific role of injection of local anesthetic into the intra- vs. extraarticular tissues after toal knee arthroplasty.
QLB After Nephrectomy
PainPostoperative1 moreOxycodone consumption and postoperative pain intensity in patients undergoing nephrectomy procedures. Of all study participants, 50% will obtain quadratus lumborum block (QLB).
TAP vs QLB in Patients After Cesarean Delivery
Cesarean SectionPostoperative PainComparison of two types of analgesia after cesarean section All patients will be anesthetized with spinal technique. Ultrasound-guided transversus abdominis plane or quadratus lumborum block to treat postoperative pain. Postoperative pain will be measured with visual-analog scale (VAS). 1, 2, 6 months after surgery each patient will be called to assess neuropathic pain with Neuropathic Pain Symptom Inventory (NPSI).
