The study is a prospective single-centre randomised controlled trial to examine the feasibility of a fully powered randomised controlled trial to examine if HPLC-SRM-MS guided intervention is superior to standard clinical care in improving clinical, behavioural and health-economy outcomes in RA patients prescribed MTX. The trial will consist of 4 stages: Screening (~-2 weeks) Recruitment, consent, randomisation, data collection, examination and blood sampling - baseline visit 1 (time point 0) Intervention - telephone appointment (visit 2, intervention arm) Outcome - visit 3 Process evaluation - visit 4 Prior to any trial specific procedures, the participant must have signed the informed consent form (ICF). The trial will offer a small financial compensation for successfully recruited patients toward the costs of parking/refreshments/travel costs/inconvenience related to attending visits

This is a randomized, double-blind, parallel group, 3 dosage level, placebo-controlled, Phase 1/2 study designed to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, safety, tolerability, and efficacy of the monoclonal antibody GSK3196165, in Japanese subjects with active moderate-severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) despite treatment with methotrexate(MTX). The subjects will receive GSK3196165 in combination with methotrexate therapy for the 12 weeks of treatment period. Approximately 55 subjects will be screened to achieve 40 randomized subjects, so as to have approximately 10 subjects in each treatment group.

Infliximab and other TNF-inhibitors have revolutionised the treatment of several immunological inflammatory diseases. Still, more than half of the patients either do not respond sufficiently to infliximab therapy or loose efficacy over time. The large individual variation in the serum drug concentrations on standard doses and the development of anti-drug antibodies are thought to be main reasons for these treatment failures. An individualised treatment strategy based on systematic assessments of serum drug concentrations, therapeutic drug monitoring, has been proposed as a clinical tool to optimise efficacy of infliximab treatment. Therapeutic drug monitoring seems reasonable both from a clinical and an economical point of view, but the effectiveness of this treatment strategy still remain to be shown. The NOR-DRUM study is planned as a national, randomised controlled multicentre trial in two parts aiming to assess the effectiveness of therapeutic drug monitoring in order to achieve remission in patients with immunological inflammatory diseases starting infliximab treatment (part A) and in order to maintain disease control in patients on maintenance infliximab treatment (part B). The results of the NOR-DRUM study will hopefully contribute to an implementation of a personalised medicine approach to treatment with infliximab and other biological drugs.

Active Rheumatoid Arthritis

The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety of adalimumab produced by CinnaGen company and AbbVie adalimumab in subjects with active Rheumatoid Arthritis. Patients with the diagnosis of active Rheumatoid arthritis according to EULAR criteria (European League Against Rheumatism) aged between 18 to 75 years will be included. This study is a Phase III, randomized, two arms, double-blind (patient and assessor blinded), parallel active-controlled non-inferiority clinical trial. The eligible patients are randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive CinnoRA® or Humira®. Every two weeks, 40 mg of either of the drugs will be administered to each patient subcutaneously along with methotrexate (15 mg/week), folic acid (1 mg/day), and prednisolone (7.5 mg/day) over six months. The primary objective of the study is to compare the efficacy of test- adalimumab (CinnoRA®) and the reference adalimumab (Humira®) in patients with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis regarding the evaluation of EULAR criteria based on Disease activity score (DAS).
