99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128 a Phase I/IIa Study in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) or Ankylosing...
Rheumatoid ArthritisAnkylosing SpondylitisThis was a monocentric, open label, Phase I-IIa study. Eligible patients who signed the ICF received two single intravenous (IV) bolus of the imaging agent 99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128. The first dose was administered on Day 1, and the second dose on Day 42 (±2 weeks). All patients were to start a new disease modifying treatment for RA or AS on Day 2. This disease modifying treatment was at the discretion of the investigator and was not chosen by the sponsor. Safety was monitored at every visit. Whole body scintigraphic imaging was performed at Day 1 and Day 42 after 99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128 dosing. Clinical disease assessments were performed at screening, Day 42 and Day 90 to assess response to RA or AS treatment. Blood was drawn to test for 99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128 immunogenicity at screening and on Days 30, 56 and 90. Patients participating in the pharmacokinetic (PK)/dosimetric sub-study had additional assessments in the 24 hours following the Day 1 dose of 99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128.

ACP-196 Versus Placebo in Subjects With Rheumatoid Arthritis on Background Methotrexate
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis study is evaluating the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD) and efficacy of ACP-196 in subjects with Rheumatoid Arthritis on background Methotrexate.

OsteoarthritisRheumatoid Arthritis4 moreThis is a prospective, randomized, multicenter clinical study in Chinese subjects to compare the safety and efficacy of the Delta PLUS Femoral Head and SL-TWIN Stem with BIOLOX forte ball head and SL-PLUS Stem in total hip arthroplasty

ß-SPECIFIC 4 Patients: Study of Pediatric EffiCacy and Safety wIth FIrst-line Use of Canakinumab...
Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA)The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy observed with canakinumab dose reduction in a subgroup of patients in the extension study CACZ885G2301E1.

Study of Efficacy and Safety of Canakinumab in Japanese Patients With SJIA
Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic ArthritisThis was a phase III study designed to provide efficacy and safety data for canakinumab administered for at least 48 weeks as subcutaneous (s.c.) injection every 4 weeks (q4wk) in Japanese patients with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA). Interim analysis (IA) data at Week 28 and 48 from this study supported a registration submission of canakinumab in the indication of SJIA in Japan.

Treatments Against RA and Effect on FDG-PET/CT
ArthritisRheumatoidIn a randomized controlled clinical trial, investigators will compare the effects on [18F]-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (FDG PET/CT) from two treatment regimens in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients deemed methotrexate inadequate responders (MTX-IRs). Two common RA treatments will be compared: triple therapy (sulfasalazine, methotrexate, and hydroxychloroquine) versus tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor (etanercept or adalimumab, plus background methotrexate for all subjects and hydroxychloroquine for subjects who were taking this at screening).

Effect of Exercise and Diet on Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriatic ArthritisPsoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a particular pattern of inflammatory arthritis often seen in association with psoriasis. PsA patients have a higher prevalence of comorbidities including obesity, metabolic syndrome, depression and premature cardiovascular disease. There is evidence that obesity is associated with PsA. A 12 month study was conducted to determine whether exercise and dietary weight loss are more efficacious, either separately or in combination, than standard care alone in improving symptoms and signs in obese adults with PsA. Fifty-five obese PsA patients with a body mass index (BMI) ≥30, were recruited. Patients were randomized into usual lifestyle (controls), diet only, exercise only, and diet plus exercise groups for 12 months. Disease activity was assessed. Blood samples collected after 12 hours overnight fasting were analysed for glucose, lipid profile, ESR, hsCRP, proinflammatory cytokines; tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-17 (IL-17). The primary outcome measures included improvement in ACR20. Secondary endpoints included reduction in PASI score, DAS28-CRP response and physician and patient global assessment (PGA). Safety and tolerability were also assessed. Data was collected at baseline and every 6 months.

A Phase 4 Trial Assessing the ImPact of Residual Inflammation Detected Via Imaging TEchniques, Drug...
Rheumatoid ArthritisMusculoskeletal and Connective Tissue DiseasesThe primary objective of the study was to investigate the association between residual disease activity at Baseline as detected by Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and the occurrence of flares in participants with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) randomized to an adalimumab dose tapering regimen controlled by adalimumab withdrawal.

A Study of E6011 in Japanese Subjects With Rheumatoid Arthritis
ArthritisRheumatoidThis study consist of treatment phase (12 weeks) and extension phase (40 weeks). This study is a multicenter, open-label, uncontrolled, multiple ascending dose (MAD) study to evaluate mainly the safety and tolerability of 12-week repeated subcutaneous administration of E6011 in Japanese subjects with Rheumatoid Arthritis. First 12 subjects will enroll as 100 mg group, next 12 subjects will enroll as 200 mg group, and last 9 subjects will enroll as 400 mg group. A total of 33 subjects will receive repeated subcutaneous administration of E6011. Subjects who roll over onto the Extension phase will have continued monitoring until 52 weeks after the initial administration.
