Drug Management of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in Covid-19 Context : Impact on Therapeutical Managment...
Juvenile Idiopathic ArthritisCOVID 191 moreThe current situation of Sars-Cov-2 pandemic generates fears in the general population. Among patients receiving long-term immunomodulatory drugs, especially in the context of auto-immune diseases, there may be legitimates interrogations about the appropriateness of continuing treatment, without modification, in the current context. Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis is concerns by these fears (the patient and their parents). Patients are treated by several classes of immunomodulatory drugs, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids and disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs. The present study will characterize this issue by defining the proportion of patients whose usual treatment of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis has been modified in relation to the actual sanitary crisis, and also to return to school.

Arthroscopic Synovectomy Combined With DMARDs in the Treatment of Refractory Elbow Rheumatoid Arthritis...
Rheumatoid Arthritis of AnkleRheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by chronic and aggressive polyarthritis. The prevalence of RA in China is about 0.42%. Arthroscopic synovectomy (AS) is an important method to save the function of joint in the treatment of refractory RA. The clinical trial is to study the value of AS combine with DMARDs in the early stage of refractory RA.

Interstitial Lung Disease in Early Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid ArthritisInterstitial Lung DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to determine how interstitial lung disease can be predicted over time in early rheumatoid arthritis. The investigators will study blood and phlegm samples from participants, along with quality of life questionnaires to determine if and how the presence of ILD may impact the participants quality of life over time.

The Clinical Feasibilityof a Multi-modal Photoacoustic/Ultrasonic Imaging System in Rheumatoid Arthritis...
Rheumatoid ArthritisUltrasonographyNew type of imaging method is in demand clinically for early detection and treatment guiding of RA. Photoacoustic imaging (PAI), a hot spot in medical imaging society, which combines the merits of optical imaging and US and has a capacity in morphological, functional and molecular imaging, has shown potential in visualizing superficial organs, including small joints. The investigators developed a multi-modal photoacoustic/ultrasound (PA/US) imaging system, equipped with a handheld 3D PA/US probe, which wass able to provide 3D volume data of dual-wavelength PA imaging of small joints, in addition to real-time 2D PA/US imaging. The investigators plan to recruit RA patients in different disease conditions and healthy volunteers to receive the 2D and 3D PA/US examination on the 2nd and 3rd MCP, PIP joints and wrist joints using this imaging system, and to evaluate the potential clinical role of the imaging system in RA, and its added value to current imaging methods.

Early Biomarkers for ARthritic PAIN to Guide Improved Treatments for Arthritis
OsteoarthritisKnee3 moreOsteoarthritis (OA) is a condition affecting the whole joint and is a major cause of pain and disability worldwide. Although OA is very common, the initial steps which lead to the development of pain and tissue damage are not fully understood. In this study participants will be investigated for markers in the blood, joint and urine in people who have a diagnosis of osteoarthritis or inflammatory arthritis and are receiving a steroid injection for their condition. Markers will be evaluated in participants with osteoarthritis compared with other types of arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis.

Arthrocentesis Study
Periprosthetic Joint InfectionSeptic ArthritisThe purpose of this study is to analyze pre- and intra-operative joint aspirates of native joints and joints with suspicion of periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) of the hip, knee and shoulder acquired in clinical routine. Joint aspirates are then analyzed with new diagnostic methods (microcalorimetry, PCR, alpha-defensin, etc.). Diagnostic speed and accuracy of these methods is compared to standard diagnostic methods in clinical routine, such as blood cultures of joint aspirates, cell count/differential, intra-operative tissue culture and histology and sonication.

Preliminary Study of Sonic Hedgehog Signaling Pathway in the Pathogenesis of Rheumatoid Arthritis...
ArthritisRheumatoid3 moreRheumatoid arthritis(RA) with a high incidence and high morbidity, the pathogenesis has not been fully elucidated. Fibroblast-like synovial cells excessive proliferation and synovial angiogenesis is the most important cause of RA synovitis and joint destruction. Our study was to find the role of Sonic Hedgehog(SHH) pathway in regulating proliferation of fibroblast-like synovial cells and modulating excess angiogenesis of synovial tissue.

Rituximab-induced Pulmonary Function Changes
Rheumatoid ArthritisInflammatory MyositisMeasuring lung function (FVC, FEV1, DLCO) before, during and after treatment with rituximab in patients with rheumatoid arthritis or inflammatory myositis.

Sleep Patterns in Children With and Without Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Juvenile Idiopathic ArthritisThe investigators are doing this study to look at sleep problems, daytime sleepiness, and thinking and behavior patterns in children with arthritis and in children without arthritis. Arthritis is a problem with joints. Some children have arthritis and some children do not have arthritis. Sleep disordered breathing is a sleeping problem in which some children snore and have pauses in their breathing during sleep. It is associated with not enough or fragmented sleep, poor school performance, problems paying attention, and behavior problems. The investigators do not know how many children with arthritis have sleep problems, and how it is linked to daytime sleepiness and children's learning, and behavior patterns compared to children without arthritis. The investigators need to study both children with arthritis and children without arthritis to learn more about these connections and to understand if they are the same or different in children with arthritis and in children without arthritis.

Ultrasound Evaluation of Hands in Patients With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Lupus ErythematosusSystemic2 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate ultrasound hands in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.
