The purpose of this study is to cast light on the highly complex etiology and cellular landscape of hip osteoarthritis by utilising single-cell and spatial transcriptomics.

The aim of this study is to constitute a biobank for patients followed in the Rheumatology center of Toulouse University Hospital for a chronic inflammatory rheumatism including rheumatoid arthritis (RA), spondyloarthritis(SpA), and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) or a chronic bone disease including osteoporosis in order to identify biomarkers associated with therapeutic response.

The FLARE-RA study will have the following research objectives: A) To establish the cellular and molecular atlas of remission RA achieved with different therapeutics aimed to identify (i) cell clusters/pathways driving disease flare or maintaining remission and (ii) provide an evidence base for developing ML tools for predicting flares. B) To test the performance of a ML-derived algorithm on longitudinal remission RA cohort in a biopsy-driven study. C) To dissect the cellular and molecular mechanisms of remission maintenance and joint flares.

Patients with chronic inflammatory diseases (CID) followed in gastroenterology, dermatology and rheumatology have physiopathological, epidemiological and therapeutic focal points. The pathologies concerned are inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD - Crohn's disease [MC] and ulcerative colitis [RCH]), chronic inflammatory skin diseases (psoriasis or Verneuil's disease) and chronic inflammatory rheumatic diseases (rheumatoid arthritis [RA] and spondyloarthritis [SpA] including psoriatic arthritis [PsA]). Presenting one of these diseases is associated with a higher risk of having a second inflammatory pathology, whether the latter is ophthalmological, dermatological, rheumatological or gastroenterological. An association of extra-articular manifestations is observed in 10 to 30% of patients with SpA, and an association of extra-intestinal manifestations is observed in approximately 30% of patients with IBD. No common database for chronic systemic inflammatory diseases currently exists in France.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the link between the lungs and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Additionally, to understand why RA patients get lung disease, how to treat, and prevent the disease.

The purpose of this study is to obtain biologic materials from the blood, airways and/or urine of normal individuals and individuals with lung disease. The normal are used to establish a set of normal ranges for various parameters. These provide control information when compared to individuals with various pulmonary diseases, and will help in understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of various lung diseases. The underlying hypothesis is that the pathologic morphological changes in the airway epithelium must be preceded by changes in the gene expression pattern of the airway epithelium and potentially in macrophages.

This data collection project is intended to provide clinical outcomes data to engineering, marketing as well as fulfill the post market surveillance requirements of various regulatory authorities. The study will be a prospective and one-arm.

The primary goal of this study is to investigate lung disease, through pulmonary function and high resolution chest CT, in newly diagnosed RA patients. Extra-articular disease occurs in approximately 50% of RA patients, with the lung being a common site of involvement. Investigators goal is to understand the prevalence of lung disease in early RA patients and to better characterize it through questionnaires, imaging, and serum studies. Additionally, the goal is to find novel biomarkers to predict lung disease in RA patients.

Psoriatic Arthritis is an inflammatory condition that typically affects joints and soft tissues such as tendons. Poorly controlled or untreated psoriatic arthritis can lead to joint damage, disability and poor physical and mental wellbeing. Evidence suggests that early diagnosis and treatment of psoriatic arthritis can minimise adverse health outcomes. Musculoskeletal ultrasound has become an extremely useful tool in aiding rheumatologists to diagnose inflammatory joint conditions particularly at an early stage in the course of a disease. Psoriatic arthritis is known to affect up to 30% of patients with skin psoriasis. Therefore, national dermatology guidelines advise that patients with skin psoriasis should be asked about any joint symptoms at least every year. This study investigates whether skin psoriasis patients who are not on biologic treatment are indeed being asked about any joint symptoms and we subsequently invite patients for a musculoskeletal ultrasound scan to see if they have features of early psoriatic arthritis on ultrasound. Those who do are then invited for a thorough rheumatology clinical assessment.
