Myeloproliferative Neoplastic Diseases Observatory From Brest

Polycythemia VeraEssential Thrombocythemia1 more

All patients diagnosed or followed in Brest University Hospital for Philadelphia negative myeloproliferative neoplasms will be included in this observational study. Myeloproliferative neoplasms recorded included: polycythemia vera, essential Thrombocythemia and Primary Myelofibrosis. This is a not interventional study. Alive patients need to sign a non-opposition consent form. Patients will be followed until last news (death, change of reference centre...).

Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs) Patient Registry

Primary MyelofibrosisPolycythemia Vera16 more

The mandate of this MPN registry is to collect clinical information, including molecular results, from consenting patients with a variety of MPNs at different time points during the course of their disease.

Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAdult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Remission125 more

This randomized phase I trial studies the side effects of vaccine therapy in preventing cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in patients with hematological malignancies undergoing donor stem cell transplant. Vaccines made from a tetanus-CMV peptide or antigen may help the body build an effective immune response and prevent or delay the recurrence of CMV infection in patients undergoing donor stem cell transplant for hematological malignancies.

Hematocrit to Hemoglobin Ratio and Red Blood Cell Distribution Width in Polycythemia Vera and Secondary...

Polycythemia Vera

Polycythemia vera (PV), a hematological neoplasm characterized by excessive erythropoiesis due to Janus kinase 2 (JAK2)- activating mutations. On the other hand, patients with secondary polycythemia (SP), a disorder mostly caused by an increased red cell mass due to chronic hypoxia (i.e, pulmonary disorders and smoking) and erythropoietin-producing tumors (such as leiomyoma, hemangiomas, renal cysts and various carcinomas), are phenotypically slightly different and are usually considered to have significantly better outcomes. Red blood cell distribution width (RDW) reflects the heterogeneity of red blood cell sizes (anisocytosis) and is routinely reported as a part of complete blood count by automated instruments in hematology laboratories.

Study to Evaluate Safety, Tolerability, and Pharmacokinetics of Idelalisib in Adults Receiving Ruxolitinib...

Myelofibrosis

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of idelalisib in adults receiving ruxolitinib as therapy for intermediate to high-risk primary myelofibrosis (PMF), post-polycythemia vera, or post-essential thrombocythemia myelofibrosis (post-PV MF or post-ET MF) with progressive or relapsed disease. This is a dose-escalation study. There will be 4 cohorts (A, B, C, D). Participants will receive an escalating dose or dose frequency of idelalisib based on the safety data of available cohort(s).

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Idasanutlin Monotherapy...

Polycythemia Vera

This is an open-label, single-arm study of idasanutlin monotherapy in participants with hydroxyurea (HU)-resistant/intolerant Polycythemia vera (PV). The study will include two phases: initial phase and expansion phase. The initial phase will assess the safety and efficacy of idasanutlin monotherapy in ruxolitinib naïve and ruxolitinib-resistant or intolerant patients, respectively. If the initial phase shows promising results for ruxolitinib-resistant or intolerant patients, an expansion phase will be opened to further characterize the efficacy of idasanutlin.

HSP90 Inhibitor, AUY922, in Patients With Primary Myelofibrosis (PMF), Post-Polycythemia Vera Myelofibrosis...

Myeloproliferative Neoplasms

The purpose of this study is to test a new drug called AUY922. AUY922 is not FDA-approved. AUY922 is a new kind of drug that attacks a protein called HSP90. HSP90 is found in both normal and cancer cells, but the investigators think it is more important in cancer cells. This study will see if AUY922 helps people with myelofibrosis, essential thrombocythemia and polycythemia vera. This study will also see if AUY922 is safe in people with myelofibrosis, essential thrombocythemia and polycythemia vera. It will find out what effects, good and/or bad, AUY922 has on the patient and the disease. The researchers hope that this study will help them to find better treatments for primary myelofibrosis, essential thrombocythemia and polycythemia vera.

Trial of Erlotinib in Patients With JAK-2 V617F Positive Polycythemia Vera

Polycythemia Vera

The primary objective of this study is to determine the overall response rate to erlotinib in patients with polycythemia vera (PV). Response rate will be assessed by improvement in the complete blood count, ultrasound of the spleen, and JAK2 molecular status. It is purposed in this study to explore a possible molecular targeting of the driving mechanism of PV.

Study to Determine the Safety and Efficacy of INCB018424 in Patients With Polycythemia Vera or Essential...

Myeloproliferative Neoplasm (MPN)

To evaluate the safety and efficacy profile of different treatment regimens of Ruxolitinib (INCB018424) administered to two groups of patients; those with polycythemia vera (PV) and those with essential thrombocythemia (ET). Patients in each group were refractory to hydroxyurea or for whom hydroxyurea is contraindicated.
