Polyp Detection With The Peerscope System™
Colon Polyps and AdenomasColon CancerThe PeerScope System consists of Peer Medical camera heads, endoscopes, video system, light source and other ancillary equipment. The system is intended for endoscopic diagnosis, treatment and video observation of the digestive tract. The PeerScope system model B is indicated for use for endoscopy and endoscopic treatment within the lower digestive tract (including the anus, rectum, sigmoid colon, colon and ileocecal valve) of adults patients. Objective:To compare the additional diagnostic yield obtained by using the PeerScope System™ extended view vs. the diagnostic yield obtained by the Standard view colonoscopy. In addition, time measurements including time to cecum, time for withdrawal and overall procedure time will be analyzed and reported for each group.
Comparison of Two Types of Biopsy Forceps for Obtaining Cold Biopsy Polypectomy for Small Sessile...
Colorectal PolypsThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the new RJ4 compare with the standard RJ3 biopsy forceps for performing polypectomy for small colorectal polyps.
Comparison of Small Colorectal Polyp Removal Using Cold EMR With Hot EMR
Colonic PolypsThis study evaluates the efficacy of small colorectal polyp removal using cold endoscopic mucosal resection with hot endoscopic mucosal resection. Half of the participants will receive cold endoscopic mucosal resection, while the other half will receive hot endoscopic mucosal resection.
Safety and Efficacy of SDX-3101 for the Treatment of Chronic Rhinosinusitis Without Nasal Polyps...
Chronic Rhinosinusitis Without Nasal PolypsThe purpose of this clinical trial is to assess the safety and efficacy of SDX-3101 for treatment of adult patients with chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps (CRSsNP) by investigating a vibration pattern of SDX-3101 compared to a control
Circumferential Submucosal Incision Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Versus Conventional Endoscopic...
Colonic PolypsThat Circumferential Submucosal Incision Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (CSI-EMR) will be at least as safe but more effective than conventional EMR for injection assisted EMR of large laterally spreading tumour and sessile polyps of the colon.
Calcium and Vitamin D vs Markers of Adenomatous Polyps
Colorectal Adenomatous PolypsThe purpose of this study is to test whether calcium and/or vitamin D supplementation favorably affects a set of biomarkers of risk for colon cancer in persons who are at higher than average risk for colon cancer (ie, have already undergone the removal of adenomatous polyps, which are known to be precursors to developing colon cancer).
Efficacy and Safety of Precut-EMR for Resecting of Colonic Polyp
Colonic PolypsThis study was attempted to determine the efficacy and complication of precut EMR comparing with convetional EMR for resecting of 10 ~ 20 mm colon polyp through prospective, randomized controlled trial.
Computer Aided Detection of Polyps in Colonoscopy
Colorectal PolypThe aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical benefit and safety of using a computer aided detection device, Skout, for real-time polyp detection in colonoscopy procedures with the indication of screening or surveillance. One of the reasons for the development of interval colorectal cancers is polyps missed during colonoscopy. Our hypothesis is that with the aid of Skout, the adenomas detected per colonoscopy will increase, and it is plausible to believe that this increase in detection could reduce the incidence of interval cancers.
Evaluation of CAD-EYE/SCALE-EYE for Detection, Classification, and Measurement of Colorectal Polyps:...
Colorectal PolypColorectal AdenomaThe investigators hypothesize that the clinical implementation of an AI system is an optimal tool to monitor, audit and improve the detection and classification of polyps during colonoscopy. The purpose of this prospective clinical cohort study is to evaluate the performance of the SCALE-EYE virtual scale for measuring polyp size when used during live colonoscopies. The investigators also wish to evaluate CAD-eye for detection and classification of polyp histology. It is hypothesized that CAD-eye and SCALE-EYE can function in real-time practice with high accuracy.
Linked Color Imaging Versus White Light Endoscopy for the Evaluation of Scars of Non-pedunculated...
Polyp of ColonCareful inspection and evaluation of the post-polipectomy scars of polyps greater than 20 mm looking for residual polyp is mandatory. LCI has demonstrated to improve polyp and adenoma detection rate in previous studies. However, to our knowledge no previous studies have been made for validation of LCI for optical diagnosis of a scar looking for residual neoplasia after a previous polypectomy. We hypothesize that LCI will improve the optical diagnosis of polyp recurrence compared to WLE. So, our aim is to compare the efficacy of linked color imaging for optical diagnosis of post-polypectomy scar recurrence compared with high-definition white light endoscopy.
