Subacute Cervical PainSubacute Upper Back PainTo determine the therapeutic efficacy of Botox not only for chronic cervical/upper back pain but also for subacute pain.
Chiropractic Care, Medication, and Self-Care for Neck Pain
Neck PainThis study will compare the effectiveness of chiropractic care, medications, and self-care on neck pain, a very common condition. The broad, long-term objective of this study is to identify effective therapies for neck pain sufferers and to increase understanding of neck pain conditions.
The Effects of Scapular Muscles Training Using a Suspension System in Patients With Non Spacific...
Scapular DyskinesisThe study aimed to investigate the effect of scapular muscle training using a suspension system in patients with non spacific chronic neck pain with scapular diskinesia
Effect of Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy Before Postural Correction Exercise in Adults With Forward...
Neck PainExtracorporeal Shock Waves Therapy1 moreCurrently, as digital leisure activities increase, more time is spent at home. According to these social trends, it is necessary to establish a program that can safely and effectively perform exercise at home. Therefore, this study assumed that if the trigger point and tension of the upper trapezius are resolved by applying ESWT before implementing the exercise program, it will have a significant effect on pain, functional aspects, and posture improvement. On this account, investigator would like to study the effect of applying ESWT before conducting the exercise program on the muscle activity ratio, craniovertebral angle, pressure pain threshold, and Neck disability index in adults with FHP.
Paramedian CESI vs Selective Nerve Root PRF for Lower Cervical Radicular Pain
Neck PainCervical RadiculopathyThis study aims to compare the efficacy of ultrasound-guided selective cervical nerve root pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) versus fluoroscopy-guided paramedian cervical epidural steroid administration (CESI) for the treatment of lower cervical radicular pain refractory to conservative treatments. For this evaluation, a numerical rating (NRS), neck disability index (NDI), and Leeds Assessment Of Neuropathic Symptoms And Signs (LANSS) scale will be used before and after both interventions.
Effect of Post Isometric Relaxation Versus Myofascial Release Therapy in the Management of Non Specific...
Neck PainNon-specific neck pain (NS-NP) is the most prevailing musculoskeletal disorder (MSK) which has large socio-economic burden worldwide. It is associated with poor posture and neck strain which may lead to pain and restricted mobility. Post isometric relaxation a form of Muscle energy technique, that works on the principles of restoring biomechanics, reducing the movement restriction and pain. Myofascial release therapy will improve muscle immobility and pain by improving blood circulation lymphatic drainage and relaxing the contracted muscles. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of Post-isometric relaxation Versus Myofascial release therapy on pain, range of motion, disability and quality of life in the management of non-specific neck pain.
The Effect of Telerehabilitation in Patients With Chronic Neck Pain
Chronic Neck PainTelerehabilitation offers more efficient follow-up of patients during their home exercise period as a cost-effective and effective treatment model. This study was planned to examine the effectiveness of telerehabilitation in patients with chronic neck pain. The aim of the study is to compare the video-based and telerehabilitation based home-exercise program in patients with chronic neck pain. It is aimed to evaluate the patients in terms of pain, functionality, quality of life, and exercise adherence.
Instrument-assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Kinesiotape Application in Individuals With Chronic...
Cervical PainChronic neck pain causes errors in joint position sense. There are studies in the literature suggesting that instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and Kinesiotape applications improve the joint position sense. There is no study examining these applications acutely on joint position sense and pain in the cervical region. As a result of our study, we will compare the effects of single-session instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and Kinesiotape application on pain and joint position sense.
Effects of Instrumental and Manipulative Techniques for the Suboccipital Region in Subjects With...
Chronic Mechanical Neck PainThe aim of the study is to compare the effectiveness between the suboccipital inhibition technique, the suboccipital inhibition carried out with the INYBI instrument and the suboccipital inhibition with the INYBI plus the upper cervical manipulation, all in patients with chronic mechanic cervicalgia, and to determine which of these techniques is the most effective in the variables studied. In order to do so, 96 subjects participated in the study, being assigned to the 3 intervention groups. We expected the combined treatment (INYBI instrument + upper cervical manipulation) to be the one to produce the best results.
Therapeutic Exercises and Stabilization Exercises Given After Manual Therapy
Patients With Non-Specific Chronic Neck PainThe study was conducted to determine and compare the effects of the therapeutic exercises and stabilization exercises given to the patient after the manual therapy session on pain, neck range of motion, daily living activities and quality of life.
