Evaluating E2007 (Perampanel) in Patients With Painful Diabetic Neuropathy (PDN) or Post-Herpetic...
NeuralgiaThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability and continued efficacy of perampanel in patients previously enrolled in double-blind, placebo-controlled studies for Painful Diabetic Neuropathy (PDN) or Post-Herpetic Neuralgia (PHN).
Platelet-rich Plasma in the Treatment of Intractable Postherpetic Neuralgia
PHN - Post-Herpetic Neuritisused ultrasound-guided platelet rich plasma nerve block to treat Intractable Postherpetic Neuralgia.
3VM1001 Cream for the Treatment of Pain Associated With Post Herpetic Neuralgia (PHN)
Treatment of PHNPost-herpetic neuralgia (PHN) is pain following acute herpes zoster; defined as pain lasting longer than 3 months. Current first line management consists of tricyclic anti-depressants and anti-convulsants such as gabapentin and pregabalin. There is an unmet medical need for treatments got topical therapies that demonstrate efficacy without serious side effects.
Oral LAT8881 in Neuropathic Pain
Neuropathic PainDiabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN)1 moreThis is a randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blind, crossover, phase IIa study to investigate the efficacy and safety of oral LAT8881 in neuropathic pain.
Efficacy and Safety of TRK-700 in Patient With Post-Herpetic Neuralgia
Post-Herpetic NeuralgiaIn Post-Herpetic Neuralgia(PHN) patients: To conduct an explorative investigation of the efficacy and safety of repeated oral doses of TRK-700 via a randomized double blind comparative study To measure the plasma concentration of TRK-700 and its metabolites
Treatment of Chronic Postherpetic Pain With Autologous Fat Grafting - A RCT
Postherpetic NeuralgiaShingles3 moreThis randomized clinical trial investigates the possible beneficial effect of autologous fat grafting on postherpetic neuralgia.
Botulinum Toxin in Peripheral Neuropathic Pain
Postherpetic NeuralgiaDiabetic Polyneuropathies1 morePain due to peripheral nerve lesion remains extremely difficult to treat and current treatments have onl moderate efficacy and/or side effects. The investigators have previously demonstrated the long term efficacy of Botulinum toxin type A (BTX-A) in a small group of patients with post-traumatic/postherpetic neuralgia and allodynia. The present study aims to a/ confirm the efficacy of repeated applications of BTX-A in a larger group of patients with peripheral neuropathic pain with or without allodynia(primary outcome) ; b/ evaluate its mechanisms of action ; c/analyse the predictors of response ;d/analyse whether the second injection is associated with a therapeutic gain. This will be a randomized placebo controlled study. A total of 30 patients will be randomized to receive either BTX-A (subcutaneous injection in the painful area) or placebo. Each injection will be repeated within at least 3 months depending on the duration of efficacy. Skin punch biopsies will be performed before and 1 month after BTX-A administration. The investigators postulate that this study will confirm the clinical efficacy and good safety of repeated administrations of BTX-A in the treatment of peripheral neuropathic pain.
A Phase 2 Study of Tapentadol Extended-Release (JNS024ER) ) in Japanese Participants With Chronic...
PainDiabetic Neuropathies2 moreThe purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of tapentadol extended-release (ER) tablets in Japanese participants with moderate to severe chronic (lasting a long time) pain due to painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (pain in the extremities related to diabetes-induced nerve damage) or postherpetic neuralgia (pain lasting after condition has healed).
Evaluation of Civamide Patch in Treatment of Postherpetic Neuralgia and Post-Incisional Neuralgia...
Postherpetic NeuralgiaThis proof of concept study is designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of topically administered Civamide Patch for the treatment of moderate to severe daily pain associated with postherpetic neuralgia localized to the trunk, and with localized post-incisional neuropathic pain syndromes on the trunk.
Effects of Vaporized Marijuana on Neuropathic Pain
Neuropathic PainReflex Sympathetic Dystrophy4 moreThis study theorized that a low dose of vaporized cannabis could alleviate nerve injury pain.
