Comparing the Clinical Outcomes of DermACELL® With Integra® Bilayer Wound Matrix
WoundsChronic Wounds1 moreBoth DermACELL® and Integra® Bilayer Wound Matrix are indicated for deep soft tissue coverage and serve as a biological matrix for cellular migration. The current thinking about the utility of these products is to apply over the wound surface and wait until the graft is well vascularized (granular bed/neodermis). At that point a split thickness skin graft can be applied over this area to cover and heal the wound. This study will determine whether human allograft or xenograft will create a durable neodermis that is more supportive of accepting of a split thickness skin graft. Patients who do not receive Split thickness skin grafts will be assigned to the second cohort for observation of healing rates.

Protein Expression as a Potential Diagnostic Biomarker of Cervical Dysplasia and/or Cancer
Precancerous ConditionStage 0 Cervical CancerThis diagnostic trial is studying the presence of a specific protein as a potential biomarker of cervical dysplasia and/or cancer. The presence of specific proteins may allow a doctor to determine whether a patient has cervical dysplasia and/or cancer.

LeukoplakiaOralThis study will be the first study investigating the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and efficacy of SBS-101 on oral pre-malignant lesions. As such, no clinical data has yet been generated using SBS-101 oral adhesive film.
Self-Sampling in Women Who Do Not Undergo Routine Cervical Screening
Health Status UnknownPrecancerous ConditionRATIONALE: Women who do not undergo routine cervical screening may be more likely to collect a self-sample for human papillomavirus testing. PURPOSE: This randomized clinical trial is studying self-sampling in women who do not undergo routine cervical screening.

Colorectal CancerHereditary Non-polyposis Colon Cancer1 moreRATIONALE: Gathering medical and family history information from patients and family members may help doctors better understand hereditary colorectal cancer and hereditary polyposis syndrome and identify patients at high risk of developing hereditary colorectal cancer. PURPOSE: This research study is collecting information from patients and family members with hereditary colorectal cancer or polyposis syndrome or who are at high risk of developing hereditary colorectal cancer.

Tethered Capsule Endoscope in Screening Participants for Barrett Esophagus
Esophageal CancerPrecancerous ConditionRATIONALE: A tethered capsule endoscope may be as effective as standard sedated endoscopy of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum in screening for Barrett esophagus. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is studying how well a tethered capsule endoscope works in screening participants for Barrett esophagus.

Multiple MyelomaPlasma Cell Myeloma1 moreRATIONALE: Studying samples of blood and bone marrow in the laboratory from patients with monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance, multiple myeloma, or plasmacytoma may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to these diseases. It may also help doctors predict how patients will respond to treatment. PURPOSE: This research study is looking at blood and bone marrow samples from patients with monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance, multiple myeloma, or plasmacytoma.
