Predictors of Recovery Expectancy
Pelvic Organ ProlapseSurgeryThe purpose of this study is to identify factors that influence a person's expectations regarding recovery from pelvic organ prolapse surgery. This is important because a person's expectations regarding recovery from surgery help to predict how a person will actually recover. Our hypothesis is that women with multiple roles will have expectations of a longer surgical recovery time after surgery for pelvic organ prolapse after controlling for known predictors of recovery expectancies. Participants will complete a preoperative online survey. Additional online surveys will be send on postoperative days 14 and 42 to measure postdischarge surgical recovery.
Pelvic Floor Disorders Among Sexual Minoritized Women
Sexual Function DisturbancesPelvic Organ Prolapse2 moreThe investigators aim to perform cognitive interviews to assess how pelvic floor disorders impact sexual functioning in women who have sex with women (WSW). As a secondary objective there will be cognitive interviews to assess perceptions of sexual function questionnaires such as Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) and Pelvic Organ Prolapse/Urinary Incontinence Sexual Questionnaire-IUGA Revised (PISQ-IR) in WSW.
The Clinical Outcome of TVM or LSC Mesh Suspension for POP
Pelvic Organ ProlapseThe investigators aim to assess the surgical outcomes of transvaginal mesh (TVM) and laparoscopic (LSC) mesh suspension. During the study period, all women with main uterine prolapse stage II or greater defined by the POP quantification staging system receiving TVM or LSC mesh suspension were retrospectively recruited. Clinical evaluations before and 6 months after surgery included pelvic examination, urodynamic study, and a personal interview to evaluate urinary and sexual symptoms using questionnaires.

Pelvic Organ ProlapseThe purpose of this study is to evaluate surgical success or failure one year after surgery for pelvic organ prolapse.
Data Collection of Patients Treated With the ColonRing™ for the Creation of Circular Compression...
DiverticulumColon11 moreThe proposed study is a post marketing, observational, retrospective data collection intended to gather and record data on patients treated with the ColonRing™ device in routine clinical practice at a single center. The data will assist in further evaluating the performance of the ColonRing™ device in regards to the creation of a colorectal anastomosis. Hypothesis:The performance of the ColonRing™, determined by the rate of complications, will be within the acceptable range reported in the literature for alternative treatment modalities.
A Study of Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Sacral Colpopexy Using Alyte Mesh
Pelvic Organ ProlapseUrinary Incontinence1 moreRobotic approach to sacral colpopexy is a relatively new procedure. The literature is scarce in regard to long term outcomes. This advanced procedure is offered at Morristown Memorial. THis protocol will review the one year outcome of patients who underwent this pocedure using a polypropylene mesh. These outcomes will incude anatomical and quality of life measures.
The Association of Pelvic Organ Prolapse Severity and Urinary Symptoms/Sexual Function
Pelvic Organ ProlapseWomen with pelvic organ prolapse often accompany with urinary symptoms or sexual dysfunction, and analyzing the association will be helpful to identify the indication of proper management. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify the above associations.
A Multi Center Study to Validate a Condition-specific Measure of Sexual Health in Women With Pelvic...
Pelvic Floor DisordersSexual Dysfunction2 moreStudy Aims: To validate a new measure of sexual function and activity in women with PFDs; To establish the responsiveness to change of the new measure. The investigators hypothesis is that the investigators can create a new questionnaire that accurately measures sexual health in women with pelvic floor disorders that improves on the already published questionnaires.
Photographic Assessment of Eyebrow Position and Range of Motion
Brow PtosisForehead and eyebrow surgery is a frequently performed cosmetic surgical procedure in which the eyebrows are raised to a more aesthetically pleasing position. Typically, this position is judged by the surgeon pre-operatively based on traditional aesthetic concepts, some of which date to the Classical era. This study is designed to assess the variance of the eyebrow from the desired aesthetic position (as determined by the subject), as wel as to assess the distance of normal excursion of the brow from maximum voluntary depression to maximum voluntary elevation.
