Prostate Cancer MetastaticIt is a Phase 2 clinical trial of Pembrolizumab in combination with Carboplatin and Cabazitaxel in Aggressive Variant Metastatic Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer. It is divided into two parts: an induction period of 6 cycles of 3 weeks each cycle of Pembrolizumab+Cabazitaxel+Carboplatino and a maintenance phase of 15 cycles of 6 weeks each cycle of Pembrolizumab.

Metastatic Prostate CancerNon-metastatic Prostate Cancer1 moreThis research study is trying to determine the safety and efficacy of the combination of two oral drugs, abemaciclib and darolutamide, with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in the treatment of metastatic, non-metastatic, and advanced prostate cancers. The first phase of the study is to establish a recommended dose for the second phase. The names of the study drugs and interventions involved in this study are: Darolutamide Abemaciclib Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) - this includes several different treatments, including Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) antagonists and agonists It is expected that about 93 people will take part in the research study. Treatment is expected to last 6 months with a follow up period of up to 4.5 years.

Prostate CarcinomaThis clinical trial evaluates the effects of an empty bladder versus (vs.) a full bladder prior to undergoing a computed tomography (CT) simulation for radiation therapy in patients with prostate cancer. Radiation therapy is a commonly used treatment for men diagnosed with prostate cancer. Prior to initiation of a course of radiotherapy, all patients with prostate cancer undergo a CT simulation that allows for computer-based optimization of radiation dose delivery to the target tissue (i.e., prostate) and simultaneous dose minimization to surrounding normal tissues, such as bladder and rectum. Patients are typically given standard instructions for preparation to present with a reproducible full bladder at the time of CT simulation and for each subsequent radiation treatment appointment. The goal of bladder distension is to displace portions of the bladder and bowel away from the highest dose radiation delivery to the prostate. However, as typical urinary symptoms related to radiotherapy develop during treatment, some patients are unable to reproduce the bladder distention achieved at the time of CT simulation. This can result in increased daily treatment time, sub-optimal reproducibility of patient internal anatomy, and increased stress for patients and radiation therapy staff. This trial will evaluate the effects of an empty bladder vs. a full bladder prior to CT simulation and radiation therapy in patients with prostate cancer and how it effects patient reported outcomes.

Prostate CancerThe goal of this clinical trial is to compare SBRT (Stereotactic Body RadioTherapy) to LDRB (Low-Dose Rate Brachytherapy with Iodine-125 seed implant) in patients with low and favourable intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The two main questions it aims to answer are : Does SBRT (Stereotactic Body RadioTherapy) for low and intermediate risk prostate cancer patients will result in less genito-urinary (GU) and gastro-intestinal (GI) toxicities than LDRB (Low-Dose Rate Brachytherapy)? Does prostate cancer patients treated by SBRT have a better quality of life than patients treated by LDRB No randomized trial has yet compared LDRB to SBRT head to head.
