RayOne EMV Mini-monovision - Efficiency and Safety of 3 Grades of Mini-monovision
Cataract SenilePresbyopiaAim:To determine the effectiveness and subjective satisfaction of patients with bilateral cataract surgery and implantation of intraocular lens (IOL) RayOne EMV with enhanced optic, using different degrees of mini-monovision (up to 0.74, between 0.75 -1.24 and 1.25-1.75). To compare individual groups between themselves . In particular, we would like to compare the independence of spectacle correction when looking into the distance, at medium distance and at reading distance.
Phacoemulsification Combined With Intravitreal Injection of Ranibizumab Prevent Postoperative Capillary...
Mild Non-proliferative Diabetic RetinopathyCataract Diabetic1 moreDiabetic retinopathy has been found progress in 20-70% diabetic patient after cataract phacoemulsification surgery. Intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF Ranibizumab is an important treatment for diabetic retinopathy including non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR). However, there is no research about phacoemulsification surgery combine Intravitreal injection of Ranibizumab on diabetic retinopathy. The research focus on the effect of phacoemulsification surgery combine intravitreal injection of Ranibizumab on mild non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy and explore the reasons for differences in treatment outcomes.
Manual Immediately Sequential Bilateral Cataract Surgery (M-ISBCS) vs Refractive Laser-Assisted...
MCS vs ReLACSPain Perception Postoperative2 moreThe focus of this study is to assess the differences in patient perceptions of pain undergoing cataract surgery by using the Refractive Laser-Assisted Cataract Surgery (ReLACS) technique compared to the standard Manual Cataract Surgery (MCS) technique using an immediately sequential bilateral approach. This study also aims to further explore difference in patients' perceptions of pain depending on timing of neurolept anesthesia in the ReLACS technique. The importance of this study is appreciated patient perception of pain during ReLACS, which is an emerging technique for cataract surgery and has been sparsely reported on to date. This investigation will include the analysis of various surgical, ocular, medical, and psychosocial metrics of patients undergoing both ReLACS and MCS at Uptown Eye specialist.

Effectiveness & Safety of I.SPACE® Ophthalmic Viscosurgical Device in Protecting Corneal Endothelium...
CataractI.SPACE® is a hyaluronic acid injectable gel CE (European Conformity) marketed since 2010. It is indicated for use as a surgical aid in ophthalmic anterior segment surgery. The aim is to protect the corneal endothelium and maintains the intraocular space. The product should be instilled in the anterior chamber of the eye and adjusted according to the volume of the aqueous humour. In this study, 80 patients aged from 18 to 84 years' old at inclusion, who have at least one eye with cataract (mild to moderate severity) based on subjective ophthalmic examination by the investigator, who have given his/her informed consent and meet all the eligibility criteria, will be enrolled. Subjects will come to a total of 7 visits over a period of 3 months. Protection of corneal endothelium (Mean percent change of CEC density) after baseline injection will be assessed. Surgeon's satisfaction during cataract surgery, mean change in Intraocular Pressure (IOP), percentage of eyes with IOP spikes ≥ 30mm mmHg, corneal thickness, intraocular inflammation, Mean Snellen monocular Uncorrected Distance Visual Acuities (UCDVA), Best Corrected Distance Visual Acuities (BCDVA) and safety will be also assessed.
OCS-01: A Phase 3 Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of OCS-01 Eyedrops Compared to Vehicle...
Disorders of the Eye Following Cataract SurgeryThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of OCS-01 Ophthalmic Suspension versus placebo (vehicle) in the treatment of inflammation and pain following cataract surgery.
Clinical Outcomes in Cataract Surgery With OMNI Canaloplasty vs Cataract Surgery With OMNI Canaloplasty...
GlaucomaOpen-AngleThe goal of this clinical trial is to look at the difference in pressure lowering effects in patients having two different combinations of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) at the time of their cataract surgery. Eligible patients will have mild to moderate glaucoma and be candidates for cataract surgery. The trial will look at the eye pressure before and one year after cataract surgery in patients. One eye in each patient will have cataract surgery with canaloplasty using OMNI. The patients other eye will have cataract surgery with canaloplasty and a HYDRUS stent. The trial will look at the differences in eye pressure and if patients are able to need fewer eye pressure lowering drops after surgery. Study participants will undergo preop testing of pressure, vision, slit lamp exam, ocular coherence tomography (OCT) of the nerve fiber layer (NFL) analysis, and visual field prior to cataract surgery with MIGS. One day, one week, one month, 6 month, and 1 year exams will be performed to check pressure, vision, slit lamp exam, and number of necessary eye pressure medications in each eye.
AVL200 IOL for Treatment of Cataract and Presbyopia
CataractThis study is to evaluate the performance of the AVL200 IOL in terms of visual function improvement over a range of focal points. Participants meeting eligibility criteria will undergo cataract surgery with implantation of the AVL200 intraocular lens (IOL), then be followed through 1 year postoperatively. Postoperative assessments include safety and visual function.
621 Real World Study

Intranasal Dexmedetomidine for Adult Patients Undergoing Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery
CataractPreoperative SedationThe investigators designed this study to examine whether the intranasal dexmedetomidine, as a preoperative drug, could improve the satisfaction of adult patients undergoing phacoemulsification cataract surgery.
