Intraindividual Comparison of EMO IOLs

Age Related Cataracts

The investigational devices are approved intraocular lenses (IOLs) intended to be implanted after phacoemulsification in individuals suffering from age-related cataract with the need of cataract surgery. Cataract surgery with precedent bilateral randomized IOL implantation will be performed in subjects who have signed an informed consent form. Postoperative examinations will be implemented in accordance with the approved investigational plan.

Investigation for Assessing the Visual Performance of Hanita Lenses Intensity SL IOL in Comparison...

Cataract

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the visual performance between Intensity SL IOL and Panoptix IOL in men and women diagnosed with cataract who require cataract surgery procedure that meet the inclusion criteria and provide written informed consent will be enrolled in the study. The main questions it aims to answer are: To show non-inferiority in binocular distance corrected visual acuity for far, intermediate and near distances after Trifocal IOL implantation. To show non-inferiority in the Defocus Curve measurement To show non-inferiority in Contrast Sensitivity measurement To show non-inferiority in patient satisfaction Participants will attend a total of 10 study visits: 1 preoperative visit, 2 operations and 7 postoperative visits.

Outcome of Two Surgical Methods for IOLImplantation in Eyes With Pseudoexfoliation Syndrome

Age Related CataractsPseudoexfoliation Syndrome

The aim of this study is to compare the surgical outcomes of the two IOL implantation methods for eyes with cataract and PEX in a single-center and with highly experienced surgeons. The goal is to acquire relevant information regarding these two IOL implantation techniques, which will help surgeons to decide which approach to choose, ultimately resulting in a benefit for patients with PEX syndrome who require cataract surgery. The main questions are: Is there a difference in lens tilt and decentration between the both methods. Is there a difference in the frequency and amount of capsular phimosis between the both methods.

IOL-capsular Complex After Different Intraocular Lenses Implantation in Patients With High Myopia...

Age-related Cataract

The IOL-capsular complex is formed after cataract surgery and intraocular lens (IOL) implantation. Early postoperative mechanical wrapping of the anterior and posterior capsules plays a significant role in preventing IOL decentration and tilt, as well as formation of the IOL-capsular complex which reduces the incidence of posterior cataract opacity. IOL decentration ≥ 0.4 mm or/and IOL tilt ≥7degree were considered clinically significant cause of poor post-surgery visual quality especially for optical sophisticated IOLs. This negative impact does not affect various types of IOLs equally. Several studies indicated that AL was an independent risk factor of IOL decentration and tilt for emmetropic or moderate myopic eyes. For patients with high myopia, they often have a longer axial length and a larger capsule diameter, which reduces the rotational stability of the IOL and may lead to tilt, decentration and displacement of IOL. Currently, there is no literature guidance to compare the results of cataract surgery combined various types of IOLs implantation in patients with high myopia. The novel anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) device, CASIA2 can evaluate the IOL capsule bending and the lens position after cataract surgery. Also, CASIA2 can be used to documented the dynamic changes of IOL-capsular complex after surgery.

Rotation of Hydrophobic Acrylic Lenses - Rayner RA0800C & Alcon Clareon & Hoya Nanex & Hoya Vivinex...

Age Related CataractsAstigmatism

The investigational devices are approved intraocular lenses (IOL) intended to be implanted after phacoemulsification in individuals suffering from age-related cataract with the need of cataract surgery. Within the study, three different IOLs will be investigated and separately evaluated. Cataract surgery with IOL implantation will be performed in subjects who have signed an informed consent form. Postoperative examinations will be postoperative refraction, visual acuity, slitlamp examination, and rotation of the IOL within 1 hour, 1 week, 1 month and 4-7 months. In the Alcon Clareon toric and RayOne EMV toric groups, patients receive a toric IOL according to their preoperative astigmatism
