Treatment of Psoriasis With Parathyroid Hormone
Plaque PsoriasisThis is a clinical study in two phases. The first phase compares the effect of an ointment containing parathyroid hormone (PTH) with the effect of a placebo ointment (inactive ointment without PTH) on psoriasis lesions. Neither the study participants nor the researchers will know who is receiving PTH ointment and who is receiving placebo until the end of this first study phase. The second phase is a study of the PTH ointment on large areas of psoriasis to find out how long the effects last.
Conditioning, the Placebo Effect, and Psoriasis
PsoriasisThis study uses the psychological principle known as classical conditioning to try to improve the standard treatment of psoriasis. Classical conditioning is a process of behavioral modification in which a person learns to connect a certain response-in this case, improvement of psoriasis-with a new action, or stimulus-in this case, application of an inactive cream. The goal of this study is to show that people with psoriasis who are maintained on corticosteroid cream part of the time and an inactive (placebo) cream at other times show a lower incidence of relapse and a reduced severity of psoriasis that patients treated with that same (reduced) amount of medication administered all the time.

Moderate to Severe Plaque PsoriasisBCD-085 is an innovative drug, a monoclonal antibody against interleukin-17. The toxicity, safety, and pharmacokinetics of BCD-085 were investigated in animals, in phase I clinical study in healthy volunteers, and in phase III clinical study in patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. This clinical study aims at investigating the efficacy and safety of BCD-085 every other week regimen (after induction for the first 3 weeks) versus BCD-085 one per month regimen (after induction for first 3 weeks) versus placebo in patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. Study purpose: To investigate the efficacy and safety of BCD-085 versus placebo in patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis (psoriasis vulgaris) Study objectives: To compare the efficacy of BCD-085 every 2 weeks versus BCD-085 every 4 weeks versus placebo, based on the proportion of patients who achieved a PASI75, target sPGA score, and on other secondary efficacy measures. To evaluate the proportion of patients in each study arm who develop adverse events with multiple injections of BCD-085 and placebo. Compare the safety profiles of BCD-085 when used every 4 weeks and when used every 2 weeks. 4. A Comparison of 188-0551 Spray Versus Vehicle Spray in Subjects With Plaque Psoriasis
Plaque PsoriasisThis Phase 3 study (Study 305) has been designed to determine and compare the efficacy and safety of 188-0551 Spray and Vehicle Spray applied twice daily for up to four weeks in subjects with plaque psoriasis. Subjects will be instructed to apply the test article (188-0551 Spray or Vehicle Spray) to all psoriasis plaques within the designated Treatment Area twice daily for four weeks (Study Day 29), unless the investigator verifies the subject's psoriasis has cleared at Day 15, then test article application will be for 2 weeks (Study Day 15).

Plaque PsoriasisThis is an open-label, long-term safety study of roflumilast (ARQ-151) 0.3% cream in subjects with chronic plaque psoriasis involving up to 25% total Body Surface Area (BSA). Study medication will be applied by the qualifying subjects topically once daily for 52 weeks at home. Periodic clinic visits will include assessments for clinical safety, application site reactions, and disease improvement or progression.

PsoriasisThis is a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study of the efficacy and safety of apremilast (CC-10004) in pediatric subjects with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. At least 230 pediatric subjects (ages 6 through 17 years) will be randomized 2:1 to receive either apremilast or placebo for the first 16 weeks and then all subjects will receive apremilast during the 36 week Extension Phase for a total of 52 weeks. Randomization to apremilast arm or placebo arm will be stratified by age group (6 to 11 years or 12 to 17 years). Subjects will receive apremilast treatment of either 20 mg twice daily (BID) or 30 mg BID, depending on weight. This Phase 3 study is being conducted to evaluate the safety and efficacy of apremilast in the treatment of pediatric subjects.
