The Application of the New Magnetic Resonance UTE Technique in Thoracic Lesions

Lung Diseases

Quantitative characteristic values of lung lesions were obtained by UTE technique, so as to make qualitative diagnosis of benign and malignant lesions. And to explore the clinical feasibility of CT-like technology - high resolution ZTE technology in the diagnosis of pulmonary diseases.

Pulmonary Care and Research Collaborative Patient Registry

Interstitial Lung Disease

The purpose of this research study is to build and maintain a registry of people with interstitial lung disease (ILD). Medical information collected for this registry may be used to advance ILD and pulmonary research and improve patient care. This is an observational registry. Participants will not receive any investigational treatments or investigational drugs as part of their participation in this registry.

Evaluation of HRCT Patterns in Systemic Sclerosis-associated Interstitial Lung Disease

Systemic SclerosisInterstitial Lung Disease

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a heterogeneous systemic autoimmune disease with distinct prognosis according to patients. Interstitial lung disease (ILD) concerns almost 50 % of SSc patients and represents the main cause of mortality. SSc-ILD is variable: from limited forms (with asymptomatic patients) to extensive lesions. Disease course in SSc-ILD is also highly variable: patients can experience stable disease, slow or fast progression. Investigators performed unsupervised clustering analysis to classify SSc-ILD according to elementary radiological lesions on HRCT scan.

A Clinical Study of LUNG-CT CAD Decision Support

Lung CancerLung Diseases

This product is a computer-aided detection software designed to assist clinicians in detecting lung nodules in chest computer tomography. This product receives from PACS, radiology information system or directly from computer tomography scanner. After receiving the image, the product performs image analysis and provides a mark of suspected lung nodules. Users can use existing medical image capture and transmission systems or reading software to view these annotations on the workstation. The main purpose of this trial is to verify that when clinicians perform chest CT pulmonary nodule detection, compared to only diagnosis based on chest CT images, whether the "Taihao" lung CT decision support system helps to improve the diagnostic efficiency of clinicians. The secondary purpose is to evaluate that when clinicians perform chest CT pulmonary nodule detection, compared to only diagnosis based on chest CT images, whether the "Taihao" lung CT decision support system helps to improve the sensitivity, specificity, and image interpretation time (Reading Time) of clinicians.

Lung DiseasesInterstitial

The primary objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between changes from baseline to 52 weeks in Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) [% pred.] and changes from baseline to 52 weeks in dyspnea score [points] or cough score [points] as measured with the living with pulmonary fibrosis (L-PF) questionnaire over 52 weeks of nintedanib treatment in patients suffering from chronic fibrosing Interstitial lung disease (ILD) with a progressive phenotype (excluding idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)).

Quantitative Pulmonary Imaging Registry & Biorepository

Pulmonary Disease

The goal of this project is to establish a registry and biorepository of images and biological samples from subjects undergoing novel pulmonary imaging methods to be used for future research aimed toward identifying clinical applications of imaging methods and toward understanding the physiological significance of imaging biomarkers. This registry and biorepository will accelerate the development of these imaging techniques and may lead toward future clinical adoption of quantitative pulmonary imaging.
