rhTPO Combining Dexamethasone Versus High-dose Dexamethasone for Initial Treatment of ITP

PurpuraIdiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

The project was undertaking by Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and other 13 well-known hospitals in China. In order to report the efficacy and safety of Recombinant Human thrombopoietin combining with Dexamethasone for the treatment of adults with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), compared to High-dose Dexamethasone therapy.

Clinical Trial of Rituximab in Children and Adolescents With Chronic Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic...

Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP)Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP)

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of rituximab in children ages 18 months to 18 years, who have severe, chronic ITP. Eligible patients with either primary or secondary ITP are treated with rituximab once a week for 4 doses, and then followed for up to one year. Response is defined as having a platelet count greater than or equal to 50,000/mL on four consecutive weekly measures beginning anytime in weeks 9 - 12.

PurpuraIdiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

The purpose of this study is to determine whether Recombinant Human Thrombopoietin (rh-TPO) in combination with Rituximab are effective and safe in the management of Steroid-Resistant/Relapsed Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP).

Low Dose Rituximab in Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a disease characterized by small blood clots throughout the body that can damage major organs and cause death. TTP is treated with plasma exchange (also called "plasmapheresis"). Patients who do not respond initially to plasma exchange often are helped by later treatment with rituximab. The purpose of this study is to see whether combining low doses of rituximab with plasma exchange will help patients get better sooner and reduce the chance of getting TTP again.

Acquired Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

The study was a Phase III, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized study to evaluate the efficacy of caplacizumab in more rapidly restoring normal platelet counts as measure of prevention of further microvascular thrombosis

Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

This study will compare the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of standard treatment versus standard treatment plus MabThera in patients with ITP. The anticipated time on study treatment is <3 months, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.

PurpuraThrombocytopaenic1 more

A open-label, multi-center 2-year safety study to ascertain the baseline levels of bone marrow fibers in previously treated adults with chronic immune (idiopathic) thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and to evaluate the long-term effect of eltrombopag on bone marrow fibers. The study will also describe the long-term safety and tolerability of oral eltrombopag treatment in subjects with chronic ITP.

PurpuraThrombocytopaenic1 more

The main purpose of this study is to compare how one 50 mg tablet of SB-497115 is broken down in the body by healthy subjects versus subjects with mild, moderate or severe kidney problems. The study is also being done to 1) check on how well the study drug is tolerated by healthy subjects versus those with liver problems and 2) to check if liver impairment affects how the study drug binds to protein in the blood.
