Thrombopoietin Receptor Agonists (TPO-ra) are novel treatment modalities for patients with refractory Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), but only few data are available for long-term effects of these drugs. In this observational study, effects and adverse effects including evaluation of bone marrow biopsies done at fixed intervals will be recorded from ITP patients treated with TPO-ra. For some patients, blood samples will be collected for research use.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether Recombinant Human Interleukin-11 (rhIL-11) Combination Low-dose Rituximab prednisone are effective and safe in the management of Steroid-Resistant/Relapsed Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP).

A cross-sectional study design and online questionnaire was used to assess the informational needs of patients with several different types of systemic vasculitis. Patients were recruited from within the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium (VCRC) online Patient Contact Registry1. Survey responses from participants in the VCRC Patient Contact Registry were compared to responses from a similar survey recently administered to patients within a United Kingdom (UK) based vasculitis support group (Vasculitis UK).

Dermatoporosis is a chronic syndrome of skin insufficiency or fragility. It is characterized by cutaneous atrophy, senile purpura and stellate pseudoscars. Dermatoporosis prevalence is 37% in ≥65 years. The objective was to determine factors associated with this diagnosis in >60 years old patients of the outpatient clinic in the Hospital Central "Dr. Ignacio Morones Prieto " San Luis Potosí, México. An observational, cross-sectional, descriptive, and analytical study was performed. Patients >60 years old were selected. A clinical history, clinical examination, and application of a validated diagnostic self-questionnaire were performed.

The purpose of this study is to learn about the impact of vasculitis on employment and income in patients with different systemic vasculitides. All patients enrolled in the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium (VCRC) Patient Contact Registry, living in USA or Canada, and followed for more than 1 year since the vasculitis diagnosis will be invited via email to participate in this study, based on an online survey.

The investigators are trying to investigate the coagulation status of idiopathic (immune) thrombocytopenic purpura patients by measuring the platelet count, coagulation battery, von Willebrand factor level, thromboelastography.

Cross-sectional study, observation made by healthcare professionals of subjects or caregivers, administering romiplostim at their first standard-of-care visit 4 weeks after training with the home administration training pack. Further observations can also be recorded in the study if made within 16 weeks of enrolment. Data will be collected from the subjects' dose diary at their first standard of care visit to ensure there were no problems with administration while not at the clinic.

The purpose of this study is to learn about how patients with vasculitis think about their illness and to assess to what extent patient perceptions of illness are associated with physical, mental, and social functioning

Chronic immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is characterized by low platelet counts and the risk of severe bleeding complications. The two recently introduced TPO-RA drugs, namely, eltrombopag and romiplostim, have shown efficacious sustained response with continuous administration. Both drugs are indicated for the treatment of thrombocytopia in patients with chronic ITP who have had an insufficient response to corticosteroids, immunoglobulins, or splenectomy. While these trials address important clinical questions they were not intended to evaluate what happens in the real-world settings with actual patient living daily lives. The purpose of this health outcomes study is to understand how the two TPO receptor agonists (TPO-RA) currently available in the US are being used in clinical practice and how their use impacts chronic ITP patients' daily lives. The study hypothesis is that patients who switched to eltrombopag report a better health-related quality of life than those who switched to romiplostim. This study utilized a hybrid design of retrospective chart review study and cross-sectional patient survey. A customized Patient Case Report Form (CRF) will be used to retrospectively collect clinical data from patient medical charts where the primary cohorts consist of patients who have switched from other ITP medication to eltrombopag or romiplostim. A cross-sectional survey will be employed to collect patient reported outcomes (PRO) data, including health-related quality of life and treatment satisfaction, using a compository questionnaire. Analyses of cross-sectional survey data and retrospective medical chart review data in patients who switch to either eltrombopag or romiplostim from their prior primary therapy will be conducted.
