This study examines the impact of virtual reality compared to sedation (midazolam and/or fentanyl) and no intervention on pain experienced from an epidural steroid injection (ESI). The intervention group (who receive virtual reality as a distraction modality) is compared to a sedation group and a control group.

The main objective is to evaluate pain and muscle strength in the upper extremities after treatment with cervical transforaminal injection of glucocorticoid vs. transforaminal injection of local anesthetic injection in patients with cervical radiculopathy. The investigators hypothesizes that there are correlations between radiculopathy and muscle weakness.

Intra-annular injections of non-autologous fibrin for moderate to severe chronic low back pain (LBP).

This is a prospective, concurrently controlled, multi-center study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Spinal Kinetics M6-C artificial cervical disc compared to anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) for the treatment of symptomatic cervical radiculopathy with or without cord compression. Some participating sites will enroll just M6-C patients, while others will enroll just ACDF patients. Patients eligible for study enrollment will present with degenerative cervical radiculopathy requiring surgical intervention, confirmed clinically and radiographically, at one vertebral level from C3 to C7. A total of 243 subjects will be included at up to 20 sites.

The primary objective of the study is to investigate the efficacy of device with far-infrared (FIR) irradiation in these patients with acute cervical radiculopathy.

This study is to determine the effectiveness of Neural mobilization(NM) technique compared with lumbar stabilization exercise (LSE) and Radial Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (rESWT) in the physical therapy management of chronic low back pain (CLBP) with radiculopathy. Subjects will be randomly assigned into two groups. Group A (NM, LSE and rESWT) and Group B (LSE and rESWT).

Up regulated sodium channels in the nerve root or dorsal root ganglion are the basic cause for the mechano-sensitization and injecting the drug in the peripheral end of the nerve will block these sodium channels, since functionally both ends of the pseudo unipolar neuron are the same.

This study will evaluate effect of soft tissue mobilization with and with out neural mobilization in cervical radiculopathy, half of the subjects will receive treatment of soft tissue mobilization along with neural mobilization whereas half of the subjects will receive only soft tissue mobilization.
