Organ Preservation Following Enverolimab-based Total Neoadjuvant Therapy for Locally Advanced Very...

Rectal Cancer

Patients diagnosed with locally advanced very low rectal cancer were chosen to participate in a comprehensive neoadjuvant therapy (TNT) protocol. This treatment regimen consisted of preoperative fractionated radiotherapy (5×7Gy) combined with 6 cycles of CAPOX chemotherapy and enverolimab. For patients who achieved clinical complete response (cCR) or near-clinical complete response (ncCR) after undergoing TNT, an organ-preserving strategy involving local full-thickness resection was implemented.

Choice of the Optimal Treatment Strategies for Mid-low REctal Cancer

Rectal Neoplasms

The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy, prognosis, health economics of different treatment modalities of mid-low rectal cancer in different centers in China, and to conduct cost utility analysis (CUA) on the treatment process of rectal cancer to explore the best treatment modality that meets the actual need of medical units in each region and at each level. The investigators hope to provide evidence-based medical suggestions for medical quality control of rectal cancer and revision of clinical guidelines, and provides a source of decision making for medical management and medical insurance.

SCRT Sequential Penpulimab in Combination With CAPEOX in the Neoadjuvant Treatment of MSS Locally...

Rectal CancerLocally Advanced

The goal of this phase 2 study is to learn about the efficacy and safety of short-course radiotherapy (SCRT) sequential Penpulimab in combination with CAPEOX in the neoadjuvant treatment of microsatellite stable (MSS) locally advanced rectal cancer. The main question it aims to answer is the role of immune checkpoint inhibitors in the neoadjuvant treatment of MSS rectal cancer. Participants will receive neoadjuvant treatment of SCRT sequential Penpulimab in combination with CAPEOX. Participants will undergo a clinical re-staging assessment at the end of neoadjuvant therapy to determine whether to adopt a watch-and-wait strategy or undergo radical surgery.
