RCT for the Effectiveness of 3 Orthodontic Retention Schemes on Post-treatment Stability and Gingival...

RelapseGingival Recession

The present study aims to assess the effectiveness of three different retention schemes used to maintain tooth position after orthodontic treatment with fixed orthodontic appliances (stability) and to evaluate possible association between retention scheme and gingival recessions on the lingual surfaces of the lower anterior teeth seen for up to 5 years post-treatment. Moreover the possible association between primary relapse tendency and long term occlusal stability will be evaluated.

Prophylactic Preoperative HIPEC in Advanced Gastric Cancer at High Risk of Peritoneal Recurrence...

Gastric Cancer

The study was designed to evaluate the efficacy of perioperative FLOT chemotherapy in combination with perioperative hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) in patients with advanced gastric cancer at high risk of peritoneal metastases. The impact of treatment on peritoneal recurrence and survival over 6 months, 1, 3 and 5 years will be assessed.

The Use of Remote Monitoring for Orthodontic Retention Review

Orthodontic Relapse

To assess whether using retainers and an artificial intelligence supported remote monitoring system maintains a more stable orthodontic treatment result than using retainers with in-office review appointments.

Additional Treatment for Isolated Local Pancreatic Cancer Recurrence Using Stereotactic Body Radiation...

Recurrent Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

A randomized controlled trial, nested within an existing prospective cohort (Dutch Pancreatic Cancer Project; PACAP) according to the 'trials within cohorts' (TwiCs) design in which the effect of additional local ablative therapy compared to current standard of care alone, on survival after recurrence in patients with isolated local pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) recurrence. The most important secondary endpoint is quality of life. Other secondary endpoints are treatment response, acute and late toxicity, overall survival, progression-free survival, local progression-free survival, distant metastases free survival and reasons for non-eligibility or exclusion.

Drug-screening in AML at Relapse for Targeted Treatment

AML

This is a non-randomised clinical study investigating subsequent patients with specific AML treatment started between January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2022. Patients with relapsing disease are planned to be analyzed in this study

Postpartum Smoking Relapse Prevention by Breastfeeding Promotion

SmokingCigarette1 more

This is a randomized controlled trial to prevent postpartum smoking relapse by breastfeeding promotion. The intervention group (N=30) will receive multicomponent breastfeeding intervention from late pregnancy to 6 months postpartum, while the attention placebo control group (N=30) will receive general infant care counseling and support. The key outcome is the rate of postpartum smoking relapse.

Serial MR Imaging and MR Spectroscopic Imaging for the Characterization of Lower Grade Glioma

Recurrent World Health Organization (WHO) Grade II GliomaRecurrent WHO Grade III Glioma2 more

This trial studies how well serial magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and MR spectroscopic imaging work in characterizing lower grade glioma. Diagnostic procedures, such as MR imaging and MR spectroscopic imaging, may detect serial changes in lower grade glioma. This study may help researchers learn more about practical ways of evaluating and standardizing treatment in patients with brain tumors.

An Investigational Scan (rh PSMA 7.3 PET/MRI) for the Detection of Recurrent Disease and Aid in...

Biochemically Recurrent Prostate CarcinomaLocalized Prostate Carcinoma1 more

This prospective pilot study will assess the feasibility of rh PSMA 7.3 positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) scans in detecting prostate cancer that may have come back (recurrent) in patients with increasing levels of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) following prostate surgery (biochemically recurrent). An increase in PSA levels alone does not tell the doctor where the cancer may be or how much cancer there may be. Imaging tests, like a bone scan, MRI, and/or computed tomography, are often performed to help the doctor learn where or how much cancer there is, and how best to treat the cancer. rhPSMA-7.3 is a radioactive tracer agent that when used with PET/MRI imaging may help diagnose and look for the spread of prostate cancer. Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a protein that is expressed in prostate cancer and this agent targets the PSMA molecule. Giving rh PSMA 7.3 during PET/MRI may help doctors better find where the cancer may be spreading and how much of it there is. The results of this trial may also guide in radiotherapy planning.
