Clinical Assessment of DAILIES TOTAL1® (DT1) Multifocal
Refractive ErrorThe purpose of this study is to evaluate DAILIES TOTAL1® Multifocal (DTl MF) contact lenses in current multifocal contact lens wearers with symptoms of end of day discomfort compared to their habitual multifocal contact lens correction.
Dispensing Study to Assess the Visual Performance of Optimised Prototype Contact Lenses
PresbyopiaRefractive ErrorThe aim of this study is to assess the visual performance of multiple optimised prototype soft contact lens designs compared to commercially available contact lenses.
Anterior Stromal Changes After PRK by Using Intraoperative Mitomicin C
Refractive DisordersTo evaluate the confocal microscopy changes in keratocyte density at the anterior stromal after Photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) surgery, using intraoperative mitomycin C(Mitolem, LEMERY, S.A. de C.V. Mexico D.F. Reg. 136M92 SSA).

Binocular Vision Anomalies After Cataract and Refractive Surgery
Binocular Vision DisorderRefractive Errors1 moreThere are indications in the literature that binocular vision disorders may occur after cataract and corneal refractive surgery. It is not clear whether these problems are new or represent decompensation of previously existing conditions. However, the following significant study limitations exist in the current literature: 1) lack of attention to non-strabismic binocular vision disorders, 2) incomplete binocular vision assessment, 3) a validated symptom survey was not used, 4) diplopia was typically the only symptom studied, 5) retrospective study design, and 6) in the few prospective studies the sample sizes were small. Given the limitations in the current literature there is a need for further study of the prevalence and significance of binocular vision problems after cataract surgery and binocular vision and accommodative problems after corneal refractive surgery. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in the prevalence of binocular vision problems after cataract surgery and accommodative and binocular vision disorders after refractive surgery.
Mechanical Versus Alcohol Epithelial Debridement During Hotorefractive Keratectomy (PRK)
Refractive ErrorMyopiaIn this prospective randomized clinical trial, confocal microscopy was used to evaluate the effect of mechanical versus alcohol-assisted epithelial debridement during photorefractive keratectomy (PRK)on corneal cellular elements. Sixty-six eyes of 33 subjects with a spherical equivalent less than -4.00 D who completed all follow-up visits were evaluated.
