The Role of Uterine NK Cells and T Cell Cytokines in Recurrent Miscarriage

Recurrent Pregnancy Losses

The aim of the study is to evaluate the role of uterine natural killer cell(uNK)in recurrent pregnancy losses and the correlation between the numbers of it and embryo toxicity by measuring the level of the Th2 cytokines in normal reproductive profile and in patients with Recurrent Pregnancy Losses (RPL).

EPLERAF-Study: Eplerenone in the Prevention of Atrial Fibrillation Recurrences After Cardioversion...

Atrial Fibrillation

The purpose of this study is to determine whether Eplerenone reduces atrial fibrillation (AF) recurrences within the first 8 weeks after electrical cardioversion of persistent AF.

Long-term Recurrence Rates of Atrial Fibrillation Following New-onset Atrial Fibrillation During...

Atrial Fibrillation

The Primary Objective of the study is to establish the One-year recurrence rates of atrial fibrillation (AF) following new-onset atrial fibrillation during intensive care unit (ICU) admission. The Secondary Objective is a composite of death from cardiovascular causes, stroke (either ischemic or hemorrhagic), or hospitalization with worsening of heart failure or recurrent AF. The prevalence and recurrence rates of AF will be divided into sub-groups based on primary ICU admission diagnosis. All-cause mortality.

Imaging Features for the Risks for Recurrence After Stereotactic Radiosurgery in Brain Metastasis...

Brain MetastasesRadiosurgery

This trial uses multi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to develop and validate imaging risk score to predict radiation necrosis in participants with brain metastasis treated with radiation therapy. Diagnostic procedures, such as multi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), may improve the ability to diagnose radiation necrosis early and help establish treatment strategies.

Mesopancreas Study in Pancreatic Cancer

PDACPancreatoduodenectomy4 more

After the Introduction of the pathological circumferential resection margin (CRM status by LEEPP Protocol), residual cancer (R1 resection) was most often found in the dorsal and medial resection margins. Yet only the medial resection margin is preoperatively evaluated during staging, while the dorsal resection margin which embeds the mesopancreatic fat and thus resembles the area of the mesopancreas, is not considered during preoperative assessment for resectability. Local recurrence is similarly prevalent as systemic relapse, and revised lower rates of R0CRM- resections through the LEEPP protocol explained the poor local tumor control. The aim of this study is to interdisciplinary approach the circumferential infiltration status of the PDAC concentrating foremost on the mesopancreas of the dorsal resection margin by including anatomic and embryologic derived perspectives.

Uterine Microbiome in Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Recurrent Pregnancy LossNot Pregnant1 more

The female genital tract microbiome may reflect female reproductive health and may be related to pregnancy outcomes. Disturbances in this microbiome may be associated with adverse reproductive outcomes. The investigators hypothesize that the endometrial and vaginal microbiome composition in women with a history of recurrent pregnancy loss are different, compared with those in normal fertile women.

Predictive Value of the DD4 Questionnaire on Depressive Relapse After Hospitalization.

Depressive Episode

This is a prospective, longitudinal, single-center observational study of data from the medical records of patients hospitalized after a characterized depressive episode and reviewed three months after hospital discharge, as part of a normally scheduled evaluation.

Response Monitoring Trial in Patients With Suspected Recurrence of Glioblastoma

GliomaGlioblastoma1 more

It was previously shown that [18F]Fluorodopa (FDOPA) PET imaging results in intended management changes in 41% of brain tumor patients. However, its impact on patient outcome defined as survival, costs, and/or quality of life has not been demonstrated. Regulatory agencies require randomized trials to determine the impact of PET on patient management and outcome. In this study we hypothesize that the addition of FDOPA PET will improve patient outcome by more accurately identifying presence or absence of tumor recurrence than conventional imaging.

Application of Palliative Treatment in Children With Brain Stem Glioma and Recurrent High-grade...

Brain TumorPediatric4 more

This Protocol is a pilot, clinical interventional study to selected patients between five and fourteen years of both sexes, carriers of the diagnosis of glioma brain stem and high grade recurrent in the central nervous system tumors, in whom there has been no response to conventional-based surgery/radiation/chemotherapy treatment or whose location does not allow treatment with conventional measures, and that already have an indication for a neurosurgical palliative procedure. It will be a close pharmacovigilance on possible adverse effects related to the nanomaterial based on the profile of cisplatin (chemotherapeutic platinum derivative), since documented toxicity data are not counted for NPt-Ca. Quality of life will be documented with PedsQL Cancer Module© and tumor size by magnetic resonance brain images.
