Medial Retinacular Plication Versus Medial Patellofemoral Ligament Reconstruction for Recurrent...
PatellaFamilial Recurrent Dislocation OfThe purpose of this study is to determine whether medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction results in superior functional outcomes compared to medial retinacular plication surgery in cases of recurrent patellar instability.
Comparison DW-MRI vs FDG PET/CT in the Detection of Early Recurrence of Cervical Well-differentiated...
Thyroid CancerRelapseThe purpose of the study is to evaluate the concordance between the 18F-PET/CT under thyrotropin stimulation and the diffusion-weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging, in the detection of residual mass in 40 patients with partial response or relapsed differentiated thyroid carcinoma.
Predictive Value of Diffusion-weighted MRI Performed in Early Post-treatment in the Occurrence of...
Head and Neck Squamous Cell CarcinomaHead and neck squamous cell carcinoma are frequent. The chemoradiotherapy protocols are part of the reference treatment of locally advanced stage tumors. Diffusion-weighted MRI (DW-MRI) is a non radiating imaging, not requiring injection of gadolinium, giving informations on tumor activity, based on the brownian motion of water molecules. The differences in motion are expressed by the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC). The ADC variations reflect changes in water molecules motion and redistribution between the intra- and extracellular compartments. Several studies have shown that malignant lesions have an ADC coefficient lowered as compared to benign lesions.
Advanced Prostate Imaging of Recurrent Cancer After Radiotherapy
Prostate CancerThe investigators are attempting to determine if a new form of imaging called 18F-DCFPyL PET/CT is helpful to physicians in deciding how to manage suspected prostate cancer recurrence. This imaging uses a Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) scan using a radioactive tracer 18F-DCFPyL that is concentrated in prostate cancer cells and can potentially identify cancer cells throughout the body. The combination of 18F-DCFPyL PET/CT can potentially identify areas of prostate cancer recurrence not seen with usual imaging [bone scan, computed tomography (CT) thorax, abdomen and pelvis, plus multi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)].

Peyronie's DiseaseSubjects who have had an incomplete response to previous Xiaflex® will receive up to 4 additional cycles of treatment.
Follow-up Protocol of Colorectal Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Scars
Colorectal CancerRecurrence1 moreNowadays endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) is the gold standard for the removal of large laterally spreading and sessile colorectal lesions ≥ 20 mm. However, recurrence rate after successful EMR (defined by the absence of neoplastic tissue at the completion of the procedure after careful inspection of the post-EMR mucosal defect and margin) is about 15-20%. Consequently, current guidelines recommend a surveillance colonoscopy between 4 and 6 months after resection for detection of residual or recurrent polyp. There are few studies that have examined the accuracy of advanced endoscopic imaging for the prediction of histological recurrence but none of these imaging modalities have been validated for surveillance after EMR. Therefore, current guidelines strongly recommend systematic biopsy of EMR scar. The main aim of this study is to assess the incremental benefit of narrow band imaging (NBI) and white light endoscopy (WLE) randomizing the initial technique for the endoscopic detection of post-EMR recurrence and to asses if this advanced imaging method achieve sufficient diagnostic accuracy to exclude recurrence without the need for biopsy.
Post-stroke Depression Treatment Effect on Stroke Recurrence
Stroke RecurrenceCardiovascular Events1 moreIt is not clear whether depresssion can predispose, or precipitate stroke recurrence in patients with stroke. We sought the relationship of post stroke depression with stroke recurrence.
Comparison of Relapse Rate After 12 Weeks Verses 20 Weeks Steroid Therapy for the Management of...
Steroid-Sensitive Nephrotic SyndromeAll children from 1 to 8 years of age, diagnose with nephrotic syndrome for the first time will be divided into two groups. One group will be given steroids for 12 weeks and other group will receive steroid for 20 weeks. During the 1 years after completion of steroid course patients will be monitor for the episodes of relapse in both group.
Surgical Result of Pterygium Extended Removal Followed by Fibrin Glue Assisted Amniotic Membrane...
PterygiumRecurrenceThe treatment of pterygium is still quite controversial. Previous studies using a large incision for pterygium excision and a large graft and has reported a very low recurrence rate with the P.E.R.F.E.C.T. technique. However, the P.E.R.F.E.C.T. technique is a relatively lengthy procedure and may not be suitable for patient with limited conjunctival reserve. Thus, we try to evaluate the final outcome of a sutureless amniotic membrane transplant technique combining the extended pterygium excision in hope to avoid the complication of the P.E.R.F.E.C.T. for PTERYGIUM technique.
Whole-body Diffusion MRI for Staging, Response Prediction and Detecting Tumor Recurrence in Patients...
Ovarian CarcinomaThe aim of this study is to assess whole body diffusion weighted imaging (WB-DWI) as a non-invasive method for accurate staging of patient suspected having ovarian cancer early treatment assessment detecting tumor recurrence
