F18-PSMA-1007 PET for Early Biochemical Recurrence of Prostate Cancer
Prostate Cancer Recurrent18F-PSMA-1007 is a new radiopharmaceutical for the detection of prostate cancer with potential benefits over the registered 18F-Fluciclovine (Axumin). The main potential benefit is the higher detection rate of PSMA compared to Fluciclovin in the low PSA range. It may therefore be more sensitive in detecting local disease in case of biochemical recurrens. The investigators aim to compare the detection efficacy of 18F-PSMA-1007 to 18F-Fluciclovin in prostate cancer patients with biochemical recurrence (PSA levels 0.2-5 ng/ml).
Analysis of the Curative Effect of Salvage Surgery on Recurrent Laryngeal Carcinoma
Recurrent Laryngeal CarcinomaEarly laryngeal cancer can be treatment by laser surgery or radiotherapy, intermediate and advanced laryngeal carcinoma mainly surgical treatment. Laryngeal cancer is at risk of recurrence after treatment, whether in surgery, laser or radiotherapy. The recurrence rate of laryngeal cancer is about 10% reported at home and abroad. Local pain, ulcers, breathing and eating difficulties caused by recurrent laryngeal cancer seriously reduce the quality of life of patients and seriously endanger their lives. Therefore, head and neck surgeons are required to make every effort to give them saving treatment in order to improve their quality of life. Prolong the patient's life.
Recurrent Pregnancy Loss and Thyroid Disease
Recurrent Pregnancy LossThe present study is divided into two groups ,one is the patients with subclinical hypothyroidism who has TPO antibody positive women with TSH concentrations > 2.5 mU/L and below the upper limit of the pregnancy specific reference range ,another is TPO antibody negative with TSH concentrations greater than the pregnancy specific reference range and below 10.0 mU/L.The two groups are randomized into either the LT4 treatment group or control group by the use of a computer-generated list. The aim of our study is to determine whether the use of levothyroxine is beneficial in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism in two groups。
Effect of Cyclosporine A Versus Tacrolimus on Response to Antiviral Therapy After Hepatitis C Genotype...
Liver TransplantationBackground and Aim: The immunosuppression influence on the response to antiviral therapy (AVT) for recurrent hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in liver transplant (LT) recipients remains controversial, especially for the rarely investigated genotype 4.This study aims to compare the effects of the two widely used calcineurin inhibitors(CNIs)(Cyclosporine A (CsA) and tacrolimus (Tac)) on the therapeutic response to different AVT regimens. Method: In126 living donor liver transplant (LDLT) recipients with recurrent HCV infection, participants were categorized to three groups according to AVT. Group one received pegylated interferon (Peg IFN-α 2a) and ribavirin (RBV) (n= 44), group two received the direct antiviral agent (DAA) sofosbuvir plus RBV (n=52) and group three received daclatasvir, sofosbuvir (other DAAs) plus RBV(n=30) each group was further subdivided according to primary immunosuppression (CsA or Tac). The sustained virological response (SVR) and relapse rates were considered the primary therapeutic outcomes of AVT. The virological response guided therapy end points for AVT were considered the secondary outcomes.
D Mannose for Prevention and Treatment of RUTIs
Recurrent Urinary Tract InfectionsAntibiotic Prophylaxis1 moreThe aim of this review is to address clinical reliability, efficacy and safety of long-term treatment with oral D Mannose for the prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections (RUTIs) in females.
68Ga PSMA PET for Patients With Biochemical Recurrence of Prostate Cancer
Prostate CancerProstatic Neoplasm4 moreThis study investigates if a new drug (PSMA) makes prostate cancer easier to identify in positron-emission tomography (PET) imaging. If this works, prostate cancer treatments can be prescribed that match the location of the disease. PSMA is radiolabeled with Gallium-68 (Ga-68). This means a participant receives a small dose of radiation from the drug - less than the annual radiation limit for a medical worker. To test this new drug, participants will receive an injection of Ga-68 PSMA and then have a PET scan. This PET scan, and the reported results, will be entered into the medical record and shared with the treating oncologists.

TES of Chloroquine for Pv in the Philippines in 2016
MalariaVivax Malaria1 moreChloroquine (CQ) is officially used as a first-line drug of Plasmodium vivax malaria in the Philippines. In this study, the therapeutic efficacy of CQ for the treatment of uncomplicated P. vivax malaria in three (3) municipalities (Bataraza, Brooke's Point and Rizal) of Palawan was evaluated using the World Health Organization protocol with a follow-up of 28 days and additional 2 days (Day 31 and 34) for hemoglobin monitoring after primaquine treatment. Study subjects were febrile individuals between > 6 months old and 59 years old with confirmed uncomplicated P. vivax infections. Chloroquine was administered according to body weight at a total dose of 25 mg/kg over 3 days (10 mg/kg on Day 0; 10 mg/kg on Day 1 and 5 mg/kg on Day 2), and primaquine following the National Treatment Guidelines. During the 1 year period that this report covers, there were 8,305 individuals were screened.
