Analysis of Primary and Metastatic Tumors in Patients With Renal Cell Carcinoma and Urothelial Carcinoma...
Renal Cell CarcinomaUrothelial Carcinoma3 moreThis is a comparative study using resected/ biopsied tumors samples collected from renal cell carcinoma and urothelial carcinoma patients who underwent surgical removal of lesions, followed by immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) treatment targting programmed cell death 1 (PD1) but developed new lesions later were also removed and stored in the biosample repository (BSR). The histology and genomic analysis of the pre-treatment and metastatic samples from the same patient would be used to find out the changes that may have lead to metastasis. Also, metastatic samples from ICB naive patients would be collected and compared with those from ICB treated patients to find out if the metastasis in treated patients was due to development of reistance.
Preliminary Evaluation of Uptake of [68Ga]P16-093 in Metastatic Prostate and Renal Cancer
Prostate CancerRenal CancerAn phase I study to evaluate the uptake of [68Ga]P16-093 in known or suspected metastatic prostate or renal cancer to establish the feasibility of using [68Ga]P16-093 to image PSMA expressing cancer. Measurement of the whole body biodistribution of [68Ga]P16-093 in prostate cancer patients post primary curative-intent treatment with stable PSA to generate human radiation dosimetry data.
Evaluating the Bacterial and Fungal Microbiome in Patients With Calcium Oxalate Urolithiasis and...
Calcium Oxalate UrolithiasisRenal Cell CarcinomaThe purpose of the study is to identify bacterial and fungal microbiome associated with calcium oxalate (CO) urolithiasis and renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
Collecting Ducts Carcinoma: in Depth Exploration and Biologically Driven Therapy (CICERONE)
Collecting Duct CarcinomaCollect a large number of samples with certain / suspected diagnosis of collecting duct carcinoma in order to confirm the diagnosis (centralized review) and standardize according to WHO 2016 criteria Build an extensive tissue bank (DNA and RNA extraction) aimed at defining the molecular taxonomy of the tumor through 1) transcriptomic analysis 2) gene expression profile Define specific molecular signatures
Biomarkers of Response to Systemic Treatments in FH-deficient RCC
MetabolomicsRenal Cell Carcinoma2 moreFumarate hydratase-deficient renal cell carcinoma (FH-deficient RCC) is a rare subtype of RCC characterized by germline/somatic mutation of the fumarate hydratase (FH) gene, and is an extremely aggressive tumor, with a propensity to disseminate early even in the setting of a small primary tumor. Affected individuals or individuals suspected of having a germline FH will undergo periodic clinical assessment and genetic analyses for the purpose of: 1) definition and characterization of phenotype, 2) determination of the natural history of the disorder, and 3) genotype/phenotype correlation. Genetic linkage studies may be performed in situations in which the genetic basis of the disorder has not been elucidated.
Study of Kidney Tumors in Younger Patients
Adult Cystic NephromaAnaplastic Kidney Wilms Tumor23 moreThis research trial studies kidney tumors in younger patients. Collecting and storing samples of tumor tissue, blood, and urine from patients with cancer to study in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and identify biomarkers related to cancer.
Collecting Blood Samples From Patients With and Without Cancer to Evaluate Tests for Early Cancer...
Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaAcute Myeloid Leukemia60 moreThis study collects blood and tissue samples from patients with cancer and without cancer to evaluate tests for early cancer detection. Collecting and storing samples of blood and tissue from patients with and without cancer to study in the laboratory may help researchers develop tests for the early detection of cancers.
Tempus Priority Study: A Pan-tumor Observational Study
Breast CancerProstate Cancer25 moreObservational study that will be collecting clinical and molecular health information from cancer patients who have received comprehensive genomic profiling and meet the specific eligibility criteria outlined for each cohort with the goal of conducting research to advance cancer care and create a dataset that furthers cancer research.
Biospecimen Collection in Identifying Genetic Changes in Patients With Breast, Prostate, Colorectal,...
Breast CarcinomaColon Carcinoma6 moreThis research trial studies how well biospecimen collection works in identifying genetic changes in patients with breast, prostate, colorectal, liver, or kidney cancer or multiple myeloma undergoing surgery. Studying samples collected during surgery may add to the understanding of cancer by looking for the genetic changes that cause early cancer onset in people of certain racial and ethnic groups.
18F-FMAU PET/CT and MRI for the Detection of Brain Tumors in Patients With Brain Cancer or Brain...
Anatomic Stage IV Breast Cancer AJCC v8Clinical Stage IV Cutaneous Melanoma AJCC v818 moreThis early phase I trial tests the use of a radioactive tracer (a drug that is visible during an imaging test) known as 18F-FMAU, for imaging with positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in patients with brain cancer or cancer that has spread to the brain (brain metastases). A PET/CT scan is an imaging test that uses a small amount of radioactive tracer (given through the vein) to take detailed pictures of areas inside the body where the tracer is taken up. 18F-FMAU may also help find the cancer and how far the disease has spread. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a type of imaging test used to diagnose brain tumors. 18F-FMAU PET/CT in addition to MRI may make the finding and diagnosing of brain tumor easier.
