A Phase 1 Study to Evaluate MEDI4736 in Combination With Tremelimumab
Breast CancerOvarian Cancer3 moreThis was a Phase 1, open-label, nonrandomized, multicenter study of durvalumab and tremelimumab in subjects with advanced cancers who were not eligible for, declined, or failed standard treatment. The primary study objective was to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and safety profile of the durvalumab and tremelimumab combination. Secondary objectives were to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and immunogenicity of durvalumab and tremelimumab, and the antitumor activity (tumor response, progression-free survival [PFS], and overall survival [OS]) of the durvalumab and tremelimumab combination. (Note: Collection of PK and immunogenicity samples was removed by amendment; analysis was not done.) Exploratory objectives were to evaluate the biological activity of the durvalumab and tremelimumab combination.
The Intrathecal Morphine for Nephrectomy
Renal Cell CarcinomaTo evaluate the efficacy and the safety of the intrathecal morphine injection in the open nephrectomy.
Everolimus as Second-line Therapy in Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma
Metastatic Renal Cell CarcinomaThis study will evaluate everolimus as second-line therapy in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma. Each patient will be enrolled and stratified in one of three cohorts based upon their first-line therapy: 1) prior cytokines, 2) prior sunitinib, or 3) prior anti-VEGF therapy other than sunitinib.
RGD-PET-CT in Cancer Angiogenesis
CarcinomaRenal CellThe goal of this clinical research study is to look at 2 new methods of scanning and see whether they can help researchers predict which tumours will respond to drugs that attack tumour blood supply.
Sorafenib Tosylate and Hypoxia-Activated Prodrug TH-302 in Treating Patients With Advanced Kidney...
Kidney CancerLiver CancerRATIONALE: Sorafenib tosylate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as hypoxia-activated prodrug TH-302, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving sorafenib tosylate together with hypoxia-activated prodrug TH-302 may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of giving sorafenib tosylate together with hypoxia-activated prodrug TH-302 and to see how well they work in treating patients with advanced kidney cancer or liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.

Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung CancerHereditary Paraganglioma46 moreRATIONALE: Temsirolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as vinorelbine ditartrate, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving temsirolimus together with vinorelbine ditartrate may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of giving temsirolimus and vinorelbine ditartrate together in treating patients with unresectable or metastatic solid tumors.
A Study to Evaluate Pazopanib as an Adjuvant Treatment for Localized Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC)...
Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC)CancerThis randomized Phase III study is to evaluate whether pazopanib compared with placebo can prevent or delay recurrence of kidney cancer in patients with moderately high or high risk of developing recurrence after undergoing kidney cancer surgery.
Pazopanib/DCE-MRIs in Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC)
CarcinomaRenal CellAll patients who participate in this study will receive pazopanib. Pazopanib is an oral drug (pill) that has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of advanced kidney cancer. In this study, the investigators plan to learn more about the way this drug works by using special scans (MRIs and Ultrasounds) to help evaluate how this drug is working on this disease. Approximately 20 people with advanced kidney cancer will be enrolled on this study.
Gamma-Secretase/Notch Signalling Pathway Inhibitor RO4929097 and Temsirolimus in Treating Patients...
Endometrial Papillary Serous CarcinomaRecurrent Endometrial Carcinoma7 moreThis phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of giving gamma-secretase/Notch signalling pathway inhibitor RO4929097 and temsirolimus together in treating patients with advanced solid tumors. Gamma-secretase/Notch signalling pathway inhibitor RO4929097 and temsirolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
Granulocyte-macrophage Colony-stimulating Factor, Interferon and Interleukin-2 as Adjuvant Treatment...
Renal Cell CarcinomaThis prospective study assesses toxicity and potential efficacy of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), interferon (IFN) alpha and interleukin-2 (IL-2) postoperatively in patients with high-risk renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
