In this study the investigators are going to assess the feasibility of this innovate technique of renal sympathetic denervation by translumbar access under ct-guidance. To limit the potential impact on the kidney, the investigators chose a population of chronic renal failure patients on dialysis or renal transplant (with native kidneys still present) and having resistant treatment hypertension despite antihypertensive combination therapy well conducted. The investigators expect to obtain a decrease of the blood pressure at the 24-hours ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) one month after the sympathetic denervation.

Proliferative lupus nephritis (LN)is the predominant cause of morbidity and mortality in juvenile Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Induction therapy with high-dose intravenous cyclophosphamide can improve renal outcomes, but considerably associated with infection. Although severe infection is the significant complication related to poorer prognosis for juvenile SLE patients in Asia, cyclophosphamide is still commonly used as the drug of choice for severe lupus nephritis. Euro-Lupus Nephritis Trial demonstrated low-dose intravenous cyclophosphamide regimen followed by azathioprine achieved good clinical results comparable with obtained high-dose regimen. There was lower number of severe infection episodes, but no significant difference. Recent studies applied low dose of cyclophosphamide (500 mg/m2/dose or 500 mg/dose)in young patients and showed good renal response. Low-dose intravenous cyclophosphamide regimen might promote non-inferior renal remission whereas decrease risk of serious infection and improve overall patient outcomes.

The objectives of this food frequency questionnaire are to arrive at a precise dietary diagnosis and to quickly identify the dietary errors made by the patients. EvalSel is useful for doctors to quickly obtain an assessment of the salt consumption of their patients, so they can refer them to dietitians if necessary. It can be used on the day of admission to hospital or during medical follow-ups to know the evolution of their consumption over the long term and improve their care.

Artegraft Versus Propaten Dialysis Grafts

Compare Artegraft and Propaten grafts for use in dialysis access to see if one performs better than the other. How long each one lasts until a complication arises or until the graft is no longer used will be compared. The study hypothesis is that the Artegraft, being an actual blood vessel, will work better than the manufactured Propaten graft.

Intensive care patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome often show renal failure with the need for hemofiltration. Resolving renal failure after cessation of hemofiltration may or may not be accompanied by oliguria. Whether or not the administration of diuretics at that moment is appropriate is not known. The study randomises between furosemide or placebo when hemofiltration is stopped. Study endpoint is recovery of renal function.
