Effect of Pertubation on Pregnancy Rates Before Intrauterine Insemination Treatment
InfertilityPertubation1 moreTo demonstrate a possible beneficial impact of pertubation we designed a randomized prospective study, in which uterine washing was administered prior to insemination in patients diagnosed with unexplained infertility.
An Alternative Culture Medium to Better Support Preimplantation Embryo Development in Vitro
InfertilityReproductive Techniques1 moreThe purpose of this research study is to evaluate a newly developed embryo culture media system for human clinical use in ART.
The Effect of Pre-treatment With GnRH Analogues Prior in Vitro Fertilization in Patients With Endometriosis...
EndometriosisInfertilityThe purpose of this study is to determine whether the administration of an analogue of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) during the three months prior to the performing of an IVF may improve the response to ovarian stimulation, implantation rate and clinical pregnancy rate in patients with endometriosis/ endometriomas.
Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection and Advanced Maternal Age
Female InfertilityThe objective of this study was to evaluate the advanced maternal age as a rationale for performing intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI). This prospective randomized study included couples undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) as a result of advanced maternal age (≥ 37 years old). Couples were randomly allocated to receive one of two sperm selection procedures (ICSI, n = 33; or IMSI, n = 33). The groups were compared with regard to fertilization rate, percentage of high-quality embryos, implantation, pregnancy and miscarriage rates.
Ovarian Stimulation and Intrauterine Insemination in Women With Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
InfertilityPolycystic Ovarian Syndrome1 moreThe study null hypothethesis is: intrauterine insemination (IUI) does not improve pregnancy rates in women with polycystic ovary syndrome. Infertile women with pcos will receive gonadotropins for ovarian stimulation and then randomize to either IUI or timed intercourse (TI)
Oral Estradiol Valerate Versus Oral Contraceptive Pill in Invitro Fertilization Patients
InfertilityThe recent controversy regarding the use of pill for cycle planning in GnRH antagonists IVF cycle has driven the search for new ways to plan IVF cycles in order to avoid weekends or to equally distribute the workload. Recently, mid-late luteal phase oral estrogens seem to be as good as the pill. The investigators will compare OCP vs oral estrogens to plan the initiation of IVF cycles.
Safety and Efficacy of Pre-defined, Fixed Dose of Gonal-f Pen Based on Subject Baseline Characteristics...
InfertilityClinical validation of the assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatment guidelines, which determine the optimal dose of recombinant human follicle stimulating hormone (r-hFSH) based on subject baseline characteristics/predictors of ovarian response.
Fresh Vs Frozen Surgical Sperm in IVF
InfertilityThe primary objective of this study is to determine if the use of frozen surgical testicular sperm specimens for ICSI lead to different IVF outcomes when compared with the use of fresh surgical testicular sperm for ICSI.
Endometrial Scratching for Cryopreserved Embryo Transfer
SubfertilityEndometrial injury performed in a cycle preceding the one for embryo transfer is associated with an increased implantation and pregnancy rate when carried out during the month preceding that of ovulation induction and fresh embryo transfer. However, there is no evidence about the effect of this intervention on the transfer of cryopreserved embryos.
Evaluation of Chemotherapy Influence on Clinical and Biological Markers of Ovarian Reserve
InfertilityThe objective is to evaluate the influence of chemotherapy, either for auto-immune disease, either for carcinologic disease, on clinical and biological markers of ovarian reserve, for young patients, with normal reproductive functions.
