To demonstrate a possible beneficial impact of pertubation we designed a randomized prospective study, in which uterine washing was administered prior to insemination in patients diagnosed with unexplained infertility.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the advanced maternal age as a rationale for performing intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI). This prospective randomized study included couples undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) as a result of advanced maternal age (≥ 37 years old). Couples were randomly allocated to receive one of two sperm selection procedures (ICSI, n = 33; or IMSI, n = 33). The groups were compared with regard to fertilization rate, percentage of high-quality embryos, implantation, pregnancy and miscarriage rates.

The study null hypothethesis is: intrauterine insemination (IUI) does not improve pregnancy rates in women with polycystic ovary syndrome. Infertile women with pcos will receive gonadotropins for ovarian stimulation and then randomize to either IUI or timed intercourse (TI)

The recent controversy regarding the use of pill for cycle planning in GnRH antagonists IVF cycle has driven the search for new ways to plan IVF cycles in order to avoid weekends or to equally distribute the workload. Recently, mid-late luteal phase oral estrogens seem to be as good as the pill. The investigators will compare OCP vs oral estrogens to plan the initiation of IVF cycles.

The primary objective of this study is to determine if the use of frozen surgical testicular sperm specimens for ICSI lead to different IVF outcomes when compared with the use of fresh surgical testicular sperm for ICSI.

Endometrial injury performed in a cycle preceding the one for embryo transfer is associated with an increased implantation and pregnancy rate when carried out during the month preceding that of ovulation induction and fresh embryo transfer.
