Effect of 12 Weeks of Acupuncture on AMH and COH in Low Responder Patients

Hypogonadism; OvarianFemale Infertility

the investigators want to study whether 12 weeks of acupuncture has any effect on AMH and the ovarian reserve in women with low ovarian reserve (low responders). AMH is measured before and after 12 weeks of acupuncture and the clinical response to controlled ovarian hyperstimulation before and after the acupuncture is compared.

The Effect of Simvastatin on Uterine Leiomyoma Development and Growth in Infertile Women

Infertility

Uterine leiomyomas with an estimated incidence of 50%-80% are the most common tumors of female reproductive system. Statins as a HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors inhibit the mevalonate pathway of cholesterol synthesis, thus have been known as a group of drugs used for treatment of hypercholesterolemia. Statins inhibit proliferation of several cell types including vascular smooth muscle, hepatocytes and other cell types. Leiomyomas are benign uterine tumors characterized by smooth muscle proliferation and excessive deposition of extracellular matrix. In the present study we aim to evaluate the effect of simvastatin on uterine leiomyoma development and growth.

Effect of Intralipid Infusion in Patients With Recurrent Implantation Failure

Subfertility

The aim of present study is to evaluate the effect of intralipid 20% infusion, once between days 4 and 9 of the ovarian stimulation, and again within 7 days of a positive pregnancy test on clinical pregnancy rates in women with unexplained recurrent implantation failure.

Analysis of TU-LESS by 3D Laparoscopy in the Treatment of Infertility

InfertilityFemale

This study intends to carry out a prospective, randomized controlled trial to compare the trans-umbilical laparoendoscopic single-site surgery by 3D laparoscopy with normal laparoendoscopic surgery in the treatment of infertility patient, so as to further clarify the safety and curative effect of TU-LESS by 3D laparoscopy and provide evidence-based basis for its application in infertility population.

Improvement of Cell Selection in Reproductive Techniques

Infertility

It is the aim of this trial to use a new computerized cell selection method, in addition to the current and world-wide used scoring system of fertilized oocytes implemented by Scott, to determine whether this leads to an increase in pregnancy rates in women undergoing assisted reproductive techniques.

The Effect of a Higher Dose of Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) Supplementation in Poor Responders...

Infertility

The supplementation of Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) has been used in some centers for patients with previous poor ovarian reserve and response in an attempt to improve pregnancy outcomes. However, there still has controversy on the clinical effect on the 75mg/d for the use, especially in Asian people. Whether the double dosage of DHEA in patients with poor ovarian reserve and response in China can improve the IVF outcome with little side effect is unknown. The aim of this randomized controlled study is to compare the effect of a higher dose (150mg daily) and a standard dose (75mg daily) of DHEA on the number of oocytes obtained in poor ovarian responders. The effect of DHEA action on the cumulus cells will be examined.

Effect of Acupuncture on Incomplete Fallopian Tube Obstructive Infertility: Study Protocol for Trial...

Female Infertility Due to Occlusion of Fallopian Tube

Acupuncture is one of the traditional Chinese practices widely used in China for more than 3000 years. In recent years, the use of acupuncture within infertility has gained popularity all over the world, but there is no research describing the use of acupuncture in infertility of incompletely obstructive fallopian tube. In this paper, we present a research design evaluating the effects of acupuncture on incomplete fallopian tube obstructive infertility. This is a randomized, control acupuncture and signal-blind trial. A total of 120 patients will be enrolled in this study and will be randomized into two groups. True acupuncture plus hydrotubation or control acupuncture plus hydrotubation will be performed for 12 weeks. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the additional value of acupuncture on the tubal patency rate and pregnancy rate beyond Hydrotubation ,therefore to guide clinical.

The Effect of Pre-washing the Insemination Catheter on Pregnancy Outcome

InfertilityPregnancy

The investigators hypothesize that washing the insemination catheter prior to performing the IUI (intrauterine insemination) will improve the pregnancy outcome in IUI cycles when compared to controls (without pre-washing the catheter). Catheter washing is performed routinely before embryo transfer, however it is not done for IUI catheters. Therefore no data is available on applying the technique to IUI catheters prior to insemination.
