The Cytogenetic Constitution of Embryos Resulting From Immature Oocytes (M1)
InfertilityTo examine the chromosomal number content in the blastomeres of embryos achieved from fertilization of immature oocytes at MI stage recruited following COH for IVF. comparison of the genetic number content of embryos and their quality in terms of cleavage rate and morphological score reached after fertilization of immature oocytes at MI stage whether arrested at the MI stage or extruded the polar body, after in vitro maturation for a variable length of time.
HOP-2A - Intratesticular Hormone Levels
HealthyMale Infertility1 moreThe purpose of this investigational study is to find out what hormones are present in healthy male testicles using fine needle aspiration.
Factor V Leiden Mutation and Implantation Failure
InfertilityThe purpose of this study is to determine whether inherited thrombophilias (tendency toward blood clotting) increase the risk of failure of the embryo to implant in IVF. The specific condition to be studied is the presence or absence of the Leiden mutation of the Factor V gene.
Caesarean Section and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) Outcome
Female InfertilityAlthough Caesarean section (CS) is often a necessary surgical intervention, it may also be associated with an increased risk of short- and long-term sequelae. It was thought that CS may increase the risk of female subfertility or even infertility. In assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles, the process of implantation is believed to be the most important factor in determining pregnancy outcome. In view of conflicting results on the influence of a previous CS on outcomes of ART, this study will be conducted to investigate the impact of the mode of previous delivery on ICSI outcomes.
Pregnancy Rate in Direct Versus Afterload Technique of Embryo Transfer
Fertility IssuesIVF1 moreThe primary outcome of the study is to determine if a difference in terms of pregnancy rate exists between direct and afterload embryo transfer (ET) techniques. The secondary end points include the evaluation of the difficult transfer rates.
Study on the Association Between SXCI and RM and the Possible Genetic Mechanism
Infertility FemaleRecurrent MiscarriageTo determine whether there is higher incidence of skewed X chromosome inactivation(SXCI) in the recurrent miscarriage(RM) population compared with normal population, and verify the existing hypothesis of the possible genetic mechanisms underlying the association between SXCI and RM.
Role of Follicular Output Rate in the Prediction of in Vitro Fertilization and Intracytoplasmic...
SubfertilityAssisted Reproduction300 women with unexplained infertility who are already decided to be treated with ICSI will be recruited from Cairo university hospitals and Dar Al-Teb subfertility centre. On the second day of menstruation serum FSH, LH, Prolactin and Oestradiol will be assessed and the antral follicular count (AFC) will be assessed using a vaginal ultrasound scan. AFC will be defined as the number of follicles measuring 3-10mm. All patients will have standard pituitary down-regulation followed by (Human menopausal gonadotrophin (HMG) stimulation until the day of (Human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) administration. On the day of HCG administration, ovarian ultrasound scan will be performed using a transvaginal probe and the Preovulatory follicle count (PC) will be assessed, (PFC) is defined as number of follicles measuring≥16mm. FORT will be calculated as: (PFC) * 100/AFC.
Eeva™ Pregnancy Investigational Clinical Study: A Postmarket Follow-Up Study
InfertilityThe purpose of this postmarket study is to gather data to evaluate the impact of using Eeva with traditional morphology grading on clinical pregnancy rates.
Semen Processing for ICSI Using Swim-down and Density Gradient Methods
InfertilityThe investigators evaluate the feedback of using swim down semen processing method during preparation for ICSI and compare the results of pregnancy and embryos quality with the cases used density gradient method for their semen processing.
Eeva™ Continued Access Study: Assessing the Usability of Eeva in a Clinical Setting
InfertilityUser questionnaire of Eeva System usability and reports of device malfunctions.
