The purpose of this study is to determine whether inherited thrombophilias (tendency toward blood clotting) increase the risk of failure of the embryo to implant in IVF. The specific condition to be studied is the presence or absence of the Leiden mutation of the Factor V gene.

Although Caesarean section (CS) is often a necessary surgical intervention, it may also be associated with an increased risk of short- and long-term sequelae. It was thought that CS may increase the risk of female subfertility or even infertility. 300 women with unexplained infertility who are already decided to be treated with ICSI will be recruited from Cairo university hospitals and Dar Al-Teb subfertility centre. On the second day of menstruation serum FSH, LH, Prolactin and Oestradiol will be assessed and the antral follicular count (AFC) will be assessed using a vaginal ultrasound scan. AFC will be defined as the number of follicles measuring 3-10mm. All patients will have standard pituitary down-regulation followed by (Human menopausal gonadotrophin (HMG) stimulation until the day of (Human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) administration. On the day of HCG administration, ovarian ultrasound scan will be performed using a transvaginal probe and the Preovulatory follicle count (PC) will be assessed, (PFC) is defined as number of follicles measuring≥16mm. FORT will be calculated as: (PFC) * 100/AFC.

The purpose of this postmarket study is to gather data to evaluate the impact of using Eeva with traditional morphology grading on clinical pregnancy rates.

The investigators evaluate the feedback of using swim down semen processing method during preparation for ICSI and compare the results of pregnancy and embryos quality with the cases used density gradient method for their semen processing.
