Safety, Tolerability and Immunogenicity of Gam-COVID-Vac Vaccine in a Nasal Spray

COVID-19SARS-CoV-2 Acute Respiratory Disease

Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate safety and immunogenicity of intranasal "Gam-COVID-Vak" combined vector vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The duration of participation in the study for one subject will be 180±14 days after the first dose of vaccine, during which each subject will undergo a screening visit (within a week) and face-to-face visits according to the study plan. Intranasal vaccine administration will be done at day 1 vaccination visits and day 21±2 days on an outpatient basis. During the follow-up visits key vital signs will be assessed, and will collect data on changes in the state and well-being subjects from a previous visit. Subject data will be collected using electronic forms of individual registration cards, as well as with using questionnaires (diaries) filled by the subjects of the study. Immunogenicity will be assessed on day 1, 10, 28, 42 and 90 days. Humoral and cellular immune response will be evaluated.

Frequent Standardized Oral Care Using Human Milk in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Ventilator Associated PneumoniaBronchopulmonary Dysplasia1 more

Premature infants are susceptible to complications related to infrequent and non-standardized oral care. Although the benefits of frequent standardized oral care are known to reduce oral dysbiosis (increased level of potentially pathogenic bacteria) and its associated complications in critically ill adults leading to established evidence-based guidelines, no such information exists for VLBW infants. The proposed study will prospectively follow 168 VLBW infants for 4 weeks following birth.

Controls for Respiratory Diseases

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary DiseaseAsthma4 more

This is the registry of control participants for patients with various respiratory diseases. We screened healthy volunteers who visited Seoul National Hospital Healthcare System Gangnam Center for routine health check-up, and enrolled patients who agree to participate in the study. The participants undergo baseline questionnaires, provide blood specimen and information of the results of health check-up. We will include participants as controls if they have no significant respiratory symptom and no significant radiographic abnormality. The data from this registry will be compared with those from other registry of various respiratory diseases

Measures of Respiratory Health Registry

Respiratory DiseaseCystic Fibrosis

There are many techniques that can allow for the quantification of lung function in children; some are being used clinically and others are under development. Many of these tools are available at BC Children's Hospital. This registry study will act as a central repository for the results of traditional and novel pulmonary function tests done at BC Children's Hospital to allow for future analysis.
