Evaluating the Infectivity, Safety, and Immunogenicity of a Respiratory Syncytial Virus Vaccine...
RSV InfectionThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the infectivity, safety, and immunogenicity of a single dose of a recombinant, live-attenuated respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine (RSV 6120/∆NS2/1030s) in RSV-seropositive children 12 to 59 months of age and RSV-seronegative infants and children 6 to 24 months of age.
Nasal and Bronchial Absorption Sampling in RSV Bronchiolitis
BronchiolitisBronchiolitis3 moreThis study will compare the novel methods of NS and BS with the standard technique of nasophayngeal aspiration (NPA) and routine ETT suction. We shall assess the samples for diagnosis of RSV, viral load and immune responses in the airways of babies with RSV infection. We shall also assess the genetics of babies included in this study, to see if they may be vulnerable to RSV infection.
A First in Human Study to Evaluate the Safety and Immune Response to a Vaccine for the Treatment...
Respiratory Syncytial Virus InfectionsAdvanced Vaccine Laboratories Pty Ltd is developing a recombinant Respiratory Syncytial Virus (rRSV) vaccine for the protection of children (6 months to 5 years old) and the elderly from RSV infection. Human RSV infects nearly all children by the age of two years, and it is a leading cause of severe lower respiratory tract (LRT) disease in both paediatric and elderly populations as well as in individuals was immune system is profoundly compromised.
A Study of an Ad26.RSV. preF-based Vaccine in Adults Aged 18 to 59 Years, Including Adults at High...
Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection PreventionThe purpose of the study is to investigate the safety and immunogenicity of the Ad26.RSV.preF based vaccine in adults 18 to 59 years of age who are healthy or at risk for severe Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) disease, compared to adults 65 years and above.
Study of RV521 in the Treatment of Adult Subjects Who Have Undergone HCT With an URTI With RSV
RSV InfectionStem Cell Transplant Complications1 moreRV521 is to being developed to treat RSV infection and disease in susceptible individuals at high risk for complications. This is an international, multicenter, placebo-controlled study. Eligible subjects are adults with a documented symptomatic RSV infection who have undergone HCT transplantation and are moderately to severely immunocompromised. Qualified subjects will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive RV521 or placebo, twice daily for 10 days.
A Study of a Vaccine Against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) When Given Alone and Together With...
Respiratory Syncytial Virus InfectionsThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, ability of GSK Biologicals' investigational RSV maternal vaccine (RSVPreF3) to generate an immune response and the degree to which the vaccine can cause side effects, when administered alone and in combination with Boostrix vaccine in healthy non-pregnant women 18-45 years of age. Two dose levels of RSVPreF3 and 2 Boostrix [Diphtheria, Tetanus and acellular Pertussis (dTpa) vaccine] formulations (US and ex-US) will be evaluated. A 2nd dose of RSVPreF3 will be administered in an extension of the study to assess the durability of the immune response after the first dose vaccination, and to assess the safety and immunogenicity following a second dose vaccination of the RSVPreF3 maternal vaccine.
Study of RSVpreF Vaccination and RSV Challenge in Healthy Adults
Respiratory Syncytial Virus InfectionsIn this randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blind Phase 2a study, healthy male and female participants 18-50 years of age will be given an investigational RSV vaccine (RSVpreF) and challenged with RSV one month later. The purpose of this research study is to assess the safety, immunogenicity and efficacy of RSVpreF using a human viral challenge model.
Study of the Safety and Immunogenicity of an Intranasal Vaccine for Respiratory Syncytial Virus...
Respiratory Syncytial Virus InfectionsThis study evaluates an investigational vaccine that is designed to protect humans against infection with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and is administered as drops in the nose. Specifically, the study analyzes the safety of, and the immune response to, the vaccine when administered to healthy children between the ages of 15 and 59 months who are seropositive to RSV.
Study of Safety, Reactogenicity and Immunogenicity of GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK)Respiratory Syncytial...
Respiratory Syncytial Virus InfectionsThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and immune response to a single intramuscular (IM) dose of GSK Biologicals' investigational RSV maternal vaccine (RSVPreF3) in healthy pregnant women 18-40 years of age and in infants born to vaccinated mothers.
Safety and Immunogenicity of a Live-attenuated Vaccine Against Respiratory Syncytial Virus in Elderly...
Respiratory Syncytial Virus InfectionsThis Phase I trial will enroll 36 healthy adult volunteers. The study will enroll a sentinel group of 6 younger adults aged 18 to 49 years followed by approximately 30 healthy older adults aged 50 to 75 years. All participants will receive two doses, 28 days apart. The vaccine will be administered as nose drops to both the low and high dose cohorts.
