Premature infants are susceptible to complications related to infrequent and non-standardized oral care. Although the benefits of frequent standardized oral care are known to reduce oral dysbiosis (increased level of potentially pathogenic bacteria) and its associated complications in critically ill adults leading to established evidence-based guidelines, no such information exists for VLBW infants. The proposed study will prospectively follow 168 VLBW infants for 4 weeks following birth.

The objective of this multicentre prospective study is to validate CAPTURE as a French case finding tool for undiagnosed patients suffering from obstructive pulmonary disease.

The Hamburg City Health Study (HCHS) is a large, prospective, long-term, population-based cohort study and a unique research platform and network to obtain substantial knowledge about several risk and prognostic factors in major chronic diseases.

Evaluation of respiratory function is considered a crucial component in the assessment of patients with a wide range of respiratory diseases. Spirometry is considered a common method of measuring pulmonary function. Recently, Transthoracic ultrasound yields important diagnostic information within minutes. Respiratory muscle ultrasound is used to evaluate the anatomy and function of the respiratory system.

The research will be retrospective, and will include all patients who were admitted during 2020 and 2021 in the COVID-19 ICU of University Hospital Center Osijek due to pneumonia caused by the Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The association of chest x-ray infiltrate evolution with changes in laboratory inflammatory parameters and respiratory function parameters will be examined.

The investigators aim to evaluate the correlation between PetCO2, PaCO2, and PtcCO2 in patients with respiratory diseases. The investigators also evaluate the correlation between PetCO2, PaCO2, and PtcCO2 changes over time.

This study pretends to evaluate the potential use of Hyfe Cough Tracker (Hyfe) to screen for, diagnose, and support the clinical management of patients with respiratory diseases, while enriching a dataset of disease-specific annotated coughs, for further refinement of similar systems.

This is the registry of control participants for patients with various respiratory diseases. We screened healthy volunteers who visited Seoul National Hospital Healthcare System Gangnam Center for routine health check-up, and enrolled patients who agree to participate in the study. The participants undergo baseline questionnaires, provide blood specimen and information of the results of health check-up. We will include participants as controls if they have no significant respiratory symptom and no significant radiographic abnormality. The data from this registry will be compared with those from other registry of various respiratory diseases

There are many techniques that can allow for the quantification of lung function in children; some are being used clinically and others are under development. Many of these tools are available at BC Children's Hospital. This registry study will act as a central repository for the results of traditional and novel pulmonary function tests done at BC Children's Hospital to allow for future analysis.

The investigators expect to reveal the association between air pollution and childhood respiratory diseases through a multi-center observational study, and summarize the relationship between air pollution and childhood respiratory diseases.
