Aim of work: to explore the potential association between serum 14.0-3.0-3.0- η protein level with disease activity and bone mineral density (BMD) in Egyptian patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). 188 patients with RA and 192 matched controls were enrolled. The RA activity parameters were evaluated in RA patients. BMD was measured. Serum level of 14.0- 3.0- 3.0- η protein and IL_.6 were estimated for all participants by ELISA.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is the most frequent form of chronic inflammatory rheumatism in adults. The erosive damage influences the functional prognosis in patients with RA. At present, there are no sufficiently sensitive and specific predictive markers of erosive damage.

Aim: To identify the main occupational performance problems reported by individuals with rheumatoid arthritis and the relationship between these activities with work status of participants . Methods: the investigators conducted a cross-sectional study with 81 patients with RA. Individuals were interviewed the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure. Data was described in frequencies and percentages, and the Pearson's chi-square test was used to determine the asymptotic association between the occupational performance problems with work.

Evaluate correlations between the validated 12 joints-Naredo ultrasound score (B-mode (0-3), PD (0-3) or PDUS (0-3, max between B-mode or PD)) and the DAS28-ESR, DAS28-CRP, CDAI, SDAI and ACR-EULAR criteria for remission in routine care.

We can speculate that the best responders to tocilizumab should have multiple related elements (Treg CD39, adenosine, IL-35) successfully induced and expressed in order to play its beneficial role. The study of these elements and its pathways could help identify the best responders to tocilizumab treatment.

The purpose of the study is to compare physical activity behaviour of rheumatoid arthritis patients with healthy matched controls.

Several observational studies have evaluated the comparative treatment costs associated with each agent, particularly those within the anti-TNF class, but few have evaluated the impact of therapy compliance, persistence, treatment patterns on patient reported outcomes, healthcare utilization and costs, using a provider database. This post marketing observational study will be conducted in a prospective, single country, multicenter format to assess the prevention of generalized bone loss in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) treated with adalimumab (Humira®) in pragmatic prescribing situations. The investigational sites will be centers with experience in the treatment of RA patients and anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-a) therapy. The investigators will be rheumatologists authorized by the Czech Rheumatologic Society for prescribing biological treatment.

The aim of this study is to accurately assess the relationship between knee joint kinematics and migration of the tibial component of a high congruent, rotating platform total knee prosthesis by using fluoroscopy synchronised in time and space with a force plate, an external motion registration system and Electromyography (EMG).
