Efficacy and Safety of Buprenorphine Transdermal Patch in Non-cancer Pain of Moderate Intensity...
OsteoarthritisRheumatoid Arthritis3 moreThis is a phase IV, open-label and single-arm study of patients with non-malignant pain due to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain and joint/muscle pain, who were not responding to non-opioid analgesics. The primary objective was to assess the efficacy of buprenorphine transdermal patch for pain control among these patients.

Safety and Tolerability Study of MBS2320 in Healthy Subjects and Subjects With Rheumatoid Arthritis...
ArthritisRheumatoidRheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects 1 percent of the population worldwide and up to 40 percent of patients don't respond to current treatments. MBS2320, the drug being tested in this trial, represents a new approach to treating RA, with the potential not only to reduce levels of inflammation but to also directly inhibit bone damage. The aim of this study is to test the safety of MBS2320 in healthy volunteers, to find out how MBS2320 levels change in the blood with dose, and to test the safety and compatibility of giving MBS2320 to patients with RA in combination with an existing treatment, methotrexate.

The Glucocorticoid Low-dose Outcome in RheumatoId Arthritis Study
RheumatoId ArthritisComparing the cost-effectiveness and safety of additional low-dose glucocorticoid in treatment strategies for elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis: The Glucocorticoid Low-dose Outcome in RheumatoId Arthritis Study (GLORIA)

Skeletal Muscle Dysfunction in Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
Rheumatoid ArthritisInsulin ResistanceMuscle strength helps determine a person's quality of life and functional independence. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis often suffer from muscle weakness and a pre-diabetic condition called insulin resistance. By doing this study, the investigators hope to learn why patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) suffer from muscle weakness.

CMAB008 With MTX Therapy in Adult Patients With Moderately to Severely Active Rheumatoid Arthritis...
Rheumatoid ArthritisCMAB008 is an infliximab biosimilar candidate. The host cell of Remicade is mouse myeloma SP2/0 cell, however, the host cell of CMAB008 is CHO (Chinese hamster ovary cell). It seems that CMAB008 has lower immunogenicity and higher safety, because Remicade comprises more complex-type and hybrid-type glycans than CMAB008. However, it is not yet known whether CMAB008 is not inferior to Remicade. This randomized, double-blind trial investigates the efficacy and safety of CMAB008 for moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis, compared to Remicade.

Long-term Safety and Efficacy of ABP 501 in Subjects With Moderate to Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis...
ArthritisRheumatoidThe purpose of this open-label study is to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of ABP 501 in adults with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Cell Phone Based Automated Monitoring of Patients With Early Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid ArthritisThe purpose of this study is to determine whether automated remote monitoring of patients with early rheumatoid arthritis by the SandRA software and short message service of cell phones increases patient compliance and helps to identify patients needing re-assessment of medication before scheduled visits. This might result in better clinical outcome and cost-effectiveness.

Single-dose Study to Describe the Safety of Sarilumab and Tocilizumab in Patients With Rheumatoid...
Rheumatoid ArthritisPrimary Objective: To describe the safety and tolerability, including laboratory abnormalities following a single dose of sarilumab or tocilizumab administered subcutaneously (SC) as monotherapy in Japanese patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Secondary Objectives: To describe the laboratory abnormalities (absolute neutrophil count [ANC], platelet counts, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein [HDL] cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein [LDL] cholesterol, and liver function tests [LFTs]) following a single dose of sarilumab or tocilizumab administered SC as monotherapy in Japanese patients with RA. To describe the pharmacokinetics (PK) of sarilumab and tocilizumab.

Comparison of Combination Disease Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs With Methotrexate Therapy in Early...
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis study will be conducted to find out how well a patient of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) will respond to disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). RA is a chronic inflammatory arthritis, which leads to joint damage & disability if not treated properly. A DMARD is used to treat RA that slows down or prevents joint damage, as opposed to just relieve pain or inflammation by painkillers. The study will be conducted at the Department of Clinical Immunology, JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research). Patients will receive either a single DMARD (Methotrexate) or combination DMARDs therapy (Methotrexate + Leflunomide + Hydroxychloroquine). During treatment course, routine blood investigations will be carried out to monitor treatment response and side effects.

Comparative Pharmacokinetic, Pharmacodynamic, Safety and Efficacy Study of Three Anti-CD20 Monoclonal...
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis study will compare the plasma pharmacokinetic profile and the change in disease activity score in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis following treatment with two 1000 mg doses of DRL_RI or one of two sources of rituximab (Rituxan® or MabThera®). Patients will also be monitored for safety, B cell depletion and recovery, and for the development of immune responses to the administered study drugs
