Microfracture at Proximal Humerus Lateral to Footprint Could Enhance the Rotator Cuff Healing
Rotator Cuff TearsMicro FractureThe goal of this clinical trial is to test whether there is any effect on rotator cuff healing by making microfracture at the lateral side of the footprint. The main question it aims to answer are: [whether the lateralized microfracture could decrease the retear rate after arthroscopy rotator cuff repair.] [whether the lateralized microfracture could improve the functional recovery after arthroscopy rotator cuff repair.] Participants with medium to larger size rotator cuff tears will be randomly assigned to the study group treated with lateralized microfracture immediately after arthroscopy rotator cuff repair or the control group treated with conventional arthroscopy rotator cuff repair without microfracture.
Ortho-R® for Rotator Cuff Repair Compared With Standard of Care Rotator Cuff Repair Without Ortho-R®...
Rotator Cuff TearsPhase I/II, multi-center, prospective, blinded 2arm, parallel design and randomized controlled study. Assessing the Ortho-R/PRP combination and standard of care for rotator cuff repair, will be compared though 12 months.
LifeNet: Extracellular Matrix Graft in Rotator Cuff Repair
Rotator Cuff TearThis trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of the ArthroFLEX® ECM scaffold graph as an augment in rotator cuff repair surgery to reduce the failure rate of rotator cuff repairs for large and massive rotator cuff tears.
Use of Extended Release Triamcinolone in the Treatment of Rotator Cuff Disease
Rotator Cuff TearsRotator Cuff Tendinitis3 moreThe primary objective of this study is to assess the overall safety and general tolerability of extended release triamcinolone acetate (TA-ER/FX006) in patient with rotator cuff disease. The study will enroll 65 patients, aged 40-75 years old, in a longitudinal case series level IV study using extended release triamcinolone to treat shoulder pain from rotator cuff disease. Inclusion criteria will be shoulder pain without a history of trauma and physical exam consistent with rotator cuff tendinitis, impingement syndrome or rotator cuff tear.
Effect Of Hydrocortisone Phonophoresis Versus Iontophoresis In Patients With Subacromial Impingement...
Impingement SyndromeSubacromial Impingement SyndromeThe purpose of this study will be to compare the efficacy of adding hydrocortisone phonophoresis or iontophoresis on pain, function, range of motion and shoulder external rotation isometric strength in patients with subacromial impingement syndrome.
Investigation of the Efficacy of Telerehabilitation in Patients With Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy
Rotator Cuff InjuriesRotator Cuff TendinitisThe goal of this study is to investigate the effect of telerehabilitation in patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy. The main questions it aims to answer are: Is telerehabilitation effective in improving the functional status of patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy? Is telerehabilitation effective in reducing the pain of rotator cuff patients?
Utility of Intermittent Cryo-Compression Versus Traditional Icing Following Arthroscopic Rotator...
Rotator Cuff InjuriesCryotherapy EffectEffective post - operative pain control following orthopedic surgical procedures without excessive reliance upon opioid pain medication has garnered increased attention in recent years. This study will evaluate the utilization of a non-invasive, novel cryo - compression, post-operative modality to improve pain control versus standard ice wraps in the immediate post-operative phase of arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery via a randomized controlled study design. Furthermore, if this study demonstrates improved pain control, improved quality of life and decreased opioid usage with the intermittent cold compression unit, recommendations may be considered for system-wide utilization.
Group-based Exercise Training Programs for Military Members With Musculoskeletal Conditions
Musculoskeletal PainLow Back Pain3 moreThis randomized controlled trial will compare the mid- and long-term effects of group-based training programs with usual individual physiotherapy care for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders in military. One hundred and twenty soldiers presenting one of the four targeted musculoskeletal disorders (low back pain, rotator cuff related pain, patellofemoral pain syndrome or lateral ankle sprain) will be recruited and randomly assigned to either a 12-weeks group-based training program or 12-weeks usual individual physiotherapy care.
Effect of Radiofrequency of Suprascapular Nerve in Shoulder Reverse Arthroplasty
Rotator Cuff Tear ArthropathyPost Operative PainThe purpuse of this study is to asses if the pulsed radiofrecuency of the supraescapular nerve and accesory nerve have the same or superior efectivity controlling the acute postoperative pain than interscalenic braquial plexus block
High Energy Density Pulse Electromagnetic Field for Patients With Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy
Rotator Cuff TendinosisThe aim of our study is to investigate the efficacy of high energy density pulse electromagnetic field for patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy
