A Clinical Study Comparing Superior Capsule Reconstruction Using Different Graft for Irreparable...
Rotator Cuff TearsBiomechanical and clinical success of the superior capsule reconstruction (SCR) using fascia lata (FL) grafts has been reported in treating irreparable rotator cuff tear. Human dermal (HD) allograft has been used successfully for SCRs; however, the clinical comparative study between FL and HD have not been reported.
Rotator Cuff Injury Managed With ERAS and Internet Plus Nursing
Rotator Cuff InjuriesRotator cuff injury patients treated with ERAS were included. The control group was given routine nursing. The observation group was given the Internet plus nursing home rehabilitation mode. Relying on mobile app and wechat, patients can get online guidance of rehabilitation training video through app and wechat, and get professional rehabilitation guidance at any time.
Study Comparing Patient Function and Satisfaction With Arthroscopic Subacromial Decompression Before...
Rotator Cuff TearAcromial SpurThe investigators aim to establish whether completing a subacromial decompression before or after repair of a complete rotator cuff tear has any clinical significance. Both the arthroscopic decompression and rotator cuff repair will be completed during the same surgical date. The investigators null hypothesis contends that full-thickness rotator cuff tear repair performed before versus after subacromial decompression will not influence patient's post-operative pain or functionality.
Cryotherapy Following Rotator Cuff Repair Surgery
Rotator Cuff TearsThe purpose of this prospective crossover study is to determine if noninferiority exists in the use of the Thermazone cryotherapy machine when compared to Breg Polarcare, the current standard-of-care cryotherapy machine, for control of pain and reduction in postoperative narcotic medication consumption following arthroscopic rotator cuff repair surgery. Specifically, the investigators propose to test the hypothesis that in adults having arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, the Thermazone device is non-inferior to Breg Polarcare on postoperative pain and opioid use over the initial 8 postoperative days.
Early Clinical Examination and Ultrasonography Screening of Acute Soft Tissue Shoulder Injuries...
Soft Tissue Shoulder InjuryRotator Cuff TearThe purpose of the study is to determine whether the introduction of early ultrasonography screening will change the diagnostic spectrum of soft tissue shoulder injuries in patients aged forty years or more. We also want to study whether certain physical tests will be able to predict or rule out full-thickness tears of the rotator cuff (shoulder tendons) in the acute phase. Another purpose is to explore the course of soft tissue shoulder injuries over a year, as well as to compare the results to studies on the prevalence of rotator cuff full-thickness tears.
Rotation Medical Bioinductive Implant Database Registry
Rotator Cuff TearThe purpose of this clinical registry is to prospectively collect and compare preoperative and postoperative patient-reported data using validated shoulder-specific and health-related quality of life (QoL) instruments during real-world use of the Rotation Medical bioinductive implant to treat rotator cuff tears.
BioFiber Scaffold Post-Market Observational Study
Full Thickness Rotator Cuff TearThe aim of this study is to collect and report data from a consecutive series of patients implanted with these products as part of a post-market surveillance plan for CE Mark approval in the European Union.
Arthroscopic Surgical Outcome Study In Subjects With Rotator Cuff Tears
Rotator CuffArthroscopic SurgeryThis is an observational study that involves subjects with full-thickness rotator cuff tears treated by means of arthroscopy surgical repair, also known as arthroscopic surgery. The primary objective of this study is to observe the timing and rate of tendon retear in those subjects.
Clinical & Radiological Assessment of Rotator Cuff Healing After Single Row Vs. Double Row Rotator...
Rotator Cuff InjuryThis study is to analyse whether there is a difference in clinical and radiological outcomes between single row and double row repair techniques for the treatment of shoulder's rotator cuff tears.
Blood Flow Restriction Training in Patients With Shoulder Pain
Rotator Cuff TendinosisThis study was planned to investigate the effect of blood flow restriction exercise training on shoulder muscle strength and muscle thickness, and to determine the change in pain and symptoms in patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy. Patients in the study group will perform the rehabilitation exercises with a pneumatic cuff and blood flow restricted. The patients in the control group will perform the same exercise program without restricting blood flow.
