Secondary Intervention and Surveillance After EVAR

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Without Rupture

This is a retrospective cohort study of consecutive patients submitted to elective EVAR, between February/2009 and May/2019 in a single institution. Symptomatic or ruptured AAA, mycotic aneurysms, isolated iliac aneurysms and complex abdominal aortic repairs were excluded. The primary outcomes were freedom from secondary intervention and compliance with follow-up, defined as surveillance imaging performed within a periodicity no longer than 18 months.

Identification of Microcirculation After Surgical Treatment of Rupture of the Achilles Tendon

MicrocirculationAchilles Tendon Rupture

This project investigates microcirculation in skin and tendon after a rupture of the Achilles tendon. Three different treatments are compared: stitches of the tendon, fibrin-glue and the combination of both.

Premature Rupture of Membranes at 34 to 37 Weeks' Gestation

Premature Rupture of Membrane

Prelabour rupture of membrane is defined as rupture of membranes prior to the onset of labour. Approximately 8% of pregnant women at term experience PROM, but the decision as to how term PROM should be managed clinically remains controversial, and there is wide variation in practice with no clear consensus on what constitutes optimal treatment. Although for the majority of women labour will start spontaneously within 24 hours following term PROM, up to 4%of women will not experience spontaneous onset of labour within seven days.

Early Detection of Chorioamnionitis in Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes

Fetal MembranesPremature Rupture

All included patients will have their fetal heart rate recording performed with an EDAN F3 fetal monitor that allowed the back up recording of the fetal heart rate beat to beat detection. Fetal heart rate variability analysis will be performed using Matalb® software.

Clinical Outcomes of Implantationof Black Diaphragm Intraocular Lens in Complete Aniridia and Aphakia...

Aphakia Due to TraumaEye; Rupture3 more

Purpose: To assess long-term outcomes of implantation of black diaphragmintraocular lens (BD IOL) in postraumatic aniridia and aphakia due to eye rupture. METHODS: This is retrospective consecutive case series of 14 eyes with post-traumatic complete aniridia and aphakia treated withscleral fixation of BD IOL with. Measurements included ophthalmological comorbidities, best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), complications, and postoperative interventions. The average postoperative follow-up period was 36 months.

Vaginal Tactile Imaging in Assessment of Pelvic Floor Conditions Before the Delivery

Pelvic FloorPerineal Rupture1 more

The mechanical demands placed on the pelvic floor structures during vaginal delivery often exceed physiological tissue limits, resulting in maternal childbirth trauma, considerable postpartum morbidity, and increased risk of pelvic floor disorders(PFD). Injury to the perineum, vaginal supportive tissues, and pelvic floor muscles cause pain, infection, and dyspareunia, as well as pelvic organ prolapse(POP).Pregnancy and vaginal delivery are considered as a main risk factors in weakening the pelvic floor support and development of SUI, AI, and POP. CS is not only available countermeasure to reduce occurrence of obstetric trauma. Tactile imaging allows acquisition of 3D stress-strain data and 3D elasticity imaging or soft tissues.

Uterine Rupture During Labor Among Women With a Prior Cesarean Delivery

Uterine RuptureMode of Delivery

Although a rare event, uterine rupture during labour is one of the most serious obstetric complications because of the dramatic maternal-fetal consequences that can result. Identifying the risk factors associated with uterine rupture would enable gynecologists to provide patients with risks of uterine rupture in the event of attempted vaginal delivery. The aim of our study is to determine risks factors for uterine rupture during labour in patients with a previous cesarean delivery who have not given birth since and to assess the occurrence of maternal-fetal comply-cations compared to patients with a previous cesarean delivery without uterine rupture.
