Iliac Branch Excluder ReGistry (IceBERG)

Abdominal Aortic AneurysmsCommon Iliac Aneurysms1 more

This post market registry consists of a retrospective and a prospective part. The first part is a retrospective registry of all implanted IBE devices of Gore in the Netherlands after CE mark was obtained, to get an initial insight on the feasibility and safety of this procedure. The second part is to prospectively register all data on implanted IBE Gore devices, in order to gain more robust data on the efficacy of the device in maintaining hypogastric artery patency.

Bloodtranfusions After Aortic Surgery

HemorrhageThoracic Aneurysm

The purpose of this study is to answer the following question: Leads a primary coagulation corrected with a single dose of fibrinogen concentrate after ascending aorta-arc reconstruction to a decrease in the number of allogenic blood transfusions, compared to placebo?

Additive Anti-inflammatory Action for Aortopathy & Arteriopathy

Aortic DissectionAortic Aneurysm

Aortic disease refers to the blood in the aortic lumen entering the aortic mediastinum from the tear of the aortic intima, separating the mediastinum and extending along the long axis of the aorta to form the true and false separation state of the aortic wall. This disease is rare, and the incidence rate is 100 thousand to 200 thousand a year, with the peak age of 50-70 years old. 65%-70% patients died in the acute stage due to cardiac congestion and arrhythmia, so early diagnosis and treatment is very necessary. The aim of this study is analyze clinical outcome of Chinese patients with acute aortic syndrome and aortic aneurysm.

Prospective Aortic Biobank of POP-STAR

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Without RuptureAbdominal Aortic Aneurysm4 more

The overall objective of the POP-STAR project is individualized surveillance for patients diagnosed with abdominal aortic aneurysms by means of more precise, patient-specific AAA growth prediction.

Trial on Endovascular Aneurysm Management

Brain Aneurysm

The management of patients with unruptured aneurysms is controversial. Patients with unruptured aneurysms may suffer intracranial hemorrhage, but the incidence of this event is still debated. Endovascular treatment can prevent rupture, but involves immediate risks; furthermore, successful treatment does not eliminate all risks. A randomized trial may be the best way to demonstrate the potential benefits of endovascular over conservative management of unruptured aneurysms.

Comparison of Surveillance Versus Aortic Endografting for Small Aneurysm Repair

Aortic AneurysmAbdominal1 more

Objective of the present study is to compare endovascular repair versus surveillance and, eventually delay treatment in patients with small abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), with respect to patient survival, AAA rupture and AAA related death risks.

Long-term Benefit of Aortic Stent-graft in Patients With Distal Aortic Dissection

Aortic DissectionAortic Aneurysm1 more

Background: Aortic stent-graft is useful to occlude intimal tear and prevent further dilatation of the false lumen in patients with aortic dissection. The long-term benefit of aortic stent-graft in patients with uncomplicated distal aortic dissection has not been well demonstrated, especially in patients at high risk of aneurysmal change and death. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to evaluate long-term clinical benefit of stent-graft insertion performed just after the acute phase into the descending thoracic aorta in patients with distal aortic dissection and at high risk of aneurysmal change of the dissected aorta.
