Simvastatin as an Add-on Treatment to Interferon-beta-1a for the Treatment of Relapsing-Remitting...
Multiple SclerosisThis study is to find out if there is any benefit to adding Simvastatin to Interferon-beta-1a in patients with Multiple Sclerosis.

Efficacy and Safety of BIIB019 (Daclizumab High Yield Process) Versus Interferon β 1a in Participants...
Relapsing-Remitting Multiple SclerosisThe primary study objective is to test the superiority of Daclizumab High Yield Process (DAC HYP) compared to interferon β 1a (IFN β-1a) in preventing multiple sclerosis (MS) relapse in participants with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. The secondary study objectives are to test the superiority of DAC HYP compared to IFN β-1a in slowing functional decline and disability progression and maintaining quality of life in this participant population.

Management of Pain in Persons With Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple SclerosisPainThe purpose of this study is to see if treatments that include components of self-hypnosis training and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can help decrease pain in people with MS.

Clinical Trial of Glatiramer Acetate in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
Amyotrophic Lateral SclerosisTeva is developing 40 mg/ml Glatiramer Acetate (GA) Injection , administered once daily under the skin, for the treatment of ALS. The study drug is a higher dose formulation of Copaxone® (20 mg/ml GA), a marketed medication, approved for the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. GA is an immunomodulating drug that has anti inflammatory and neuroprotective properties, which are believed to be of therapeutic value in ALS. The study treatment duration is 1 year (52 weeks).

Clinical Trial Comparing Treatment of Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RR-MS) With Two Doses...
Relapsing Remitting Multiple SclerosisTeva is developing a 40 mg/ml GA Injection, administered once daily under the skin, for the treatment of R-R MS. The study drug is a higher dose formulation of Copaxone® (20 mg/ml GA), a marketed medication, approved for the treatment of R-R MS. GA is an immunomodulating drug that has anti inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. The study treatment duration is 12 months.

Phase III Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of Copolymer 1 for Relapsing-Remitting...
Multiple SclerosisOBJECTIVES: I. Compare tolerance to and therapeutic impact of copolymer 1, a mixture of synthetic polypeptides, with placebo in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis.

BENEFIT 15 Long-term Follow-up Study of the BENEFIT and BENEFIT Follow-up Studies
Multiple SclerosisThe purpose of this study is to obtain long-term clinical data from patients approximately 15 years after their first clinical event, who participated in the former BENEFIT 304747 study and were treated at least once within that study. This study will collect clinical information on the disease course, on disability, relapses, cognitive function over time, quality of life, depression, fatigue, resource use, and employment status. In addition, brain MRI is performed.

Emotion Regulation Skills Training for Individuals With MS and Their Support Partners
Multiple SclerosisThis pilot randomized controlled trial investigates a novel, group-based emotion regulation skills training intervention for reducing anxious and depressive symptomatology and improving emotion regulation and problem solving in individuals with MS and the individual's support partners. Participants will be randomized (1:1) to the intervention ("Partnered Emotion Regulation Skills Intervention and Supportive Teaching [PERSIST]") or to the active control (Facilitated Peer Support).

Identifying Unique Pathogenic Macrophages in Systemic Sclerosis-ILD
Fibrosis LungSystemic SclerosisAlveolar macrophages isolated from bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid from systemic sclerosis (SSc) patients with clinically significant lung fibrosis will be studied at baseline and at 6 months after enrollment to assess longitudinally the presence and persistence of an emergent, pro-fibrotic alveolar macrophage population, using single cell RNA-Seq technology to measure the individual transcriptome from each cell.

Study of ALS Reversals 2: Genetic Analyses
Amyotrophic Lateral SclerosisProgressive Muscular AtrophyThe purpose of this study is to try to understand why reversals of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and primary muscular atrophy (PMA) take place. The study will enroll patients with ALS or PMA reversals to give saliva samples in order to determine if the ALS or PMA reversal is because of certain changes in the genetic code.
